An OnlyFans star who went viral after staging a parody of the Wandsworth prison sex tape been cut off by her family after they discovered her secret X-rated life.
Kayla Wild starred in a viral clip appearing to show a female guard having sex with an inmate in category-A HMP Wandsworth.
It came just weeks after an officer allegedly had sex with an inmate in a different X-rated video filmed in the south London prison.
Kayla, 36, from Essex, has now revealed how her explicit online antics led to her mother telling her: ‘You’re dead to me’.
Kayla, who joined Onlyfans last year and has made £70,000 in ten months, said: ‘I’ve been completely cut off by some of my family – they want nothing to do with me.
‘They’ve always been very good at keeping up appearances and they think I’ve brought shame on them.
‘My mum told me that I was dead to her and my sister is very bitter.
‘They think I’m a bad parent because of it. But anyone who knows me as a parents will you tell you that’s not the case at all.
‘I’m a very conscious parent and work hard to ensure my child is set up with a healthy future.
‘I’ve gone from worrying about how I’d pay for a jacket potato in a soft play, to not having to worry about bills.
‘But you need warrior resilience to see what you can get through healthily, to give yourself a chance.
‘You don’t know one day if it’s going to take you under. You need to be aware of your own feelings and capabilities.’
More than 230m users splurged £4.3bn on Onlyfans in 2022, leading to record £415m profits for parent company Fenix International.
Most recent accounts reveal the platform has 3.2m creators, but the internet subscription service has torn many families apart.
Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward fell out with her model daughter Mia, 19, over the site.
Kayla has warned young women to think twice before signing up to the platform.
Kayla said: ‘People think it’s just getting your kit off and making money.
‘I worry that so many young woman are flocking to sign up. I want to grab them by the shoulders and say ‘have you really thought about this?’.
‘What goes on the internet, stays on the internet. You open yourself up to judgment, not just from strangers but family and friends.
‘If you’re not emotionally healthy, then you can easily drown. I’m glad Igot into it aged 36 and not any earlier.
‘I’m so glad I didn’t do it when I was younger and without having gone through some big life experiences first.
‘You’ve got to be able to speak up for yourself, know your values and your vulnerabilities.
‘I know a lot of younger girls seem strong but I wasn’t. Once you’re having sex on the internet, you’re not getting it back. It’s there forever.
‘I don’t want to scaremonger but I want to urge on younger girls that it’s so important not to rush into OnlyFans and adult work.’
Kayla, who has studied to be a counsellor, said she hopes to rebuild relations with her family – but has no immediate intention to quit her job.
She added: ‘It sounds like I’m hateful of them, but I swear I’m not. I feel for them.
‘I’m a single mum to a young child. I keep everything going alone. The only help I have has been a private nursery, one friend and a neighbour.
‘It’s been hard and my family judge me so harshly. I don’t have regrets about being on Onlyfans but you’re always at risk of being judged.
‘Sadly, we still live in a stigmatised culture towards sex work.’
Kayla’s viral prison video with plumber-turned-porn star Andy Lee – which was in fact filmed on a set in Cambridge – racked up millions of views.
The set was so realistic that many viewers wrongly thought the clip had been filmed inside HMP Wandsworth.
