She’s the 20 year old Paraguayan swimmer who got the boot from the Olympic Village this summer for “inappropriate behavior.” She had retired from swimming after failing to qualify, but was still hanging around the area with her people while surely making new friends.
The story goes that the head of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee said she was creating an inappropriate atmosphere for the other competitors. The details were vague but then it came out she snuck out to see Disneyland. The horror!
Luana then said everything was a lie, but really that was just her telling the world so they stopped focussing on her. A humble, polite, respectful queen. She had already taken the internet by storm though.
