A model who hurled a banana milkshake at Nigel Farage during his election campaign used her court appearance to plug her OnlyFans account.
Victoria Thomas Bowen faces a potential jail sentence after also hitting the Reform UK leader with the cup in the incident as he left the Moon and Starfish pub in Clacton-on-Sea on June 4.
The 25-year-old, who sells content on the adult website OnlyFans, denied the charges and was due to go on trial but changed her plea to guilty before proceedings began.
She also admitted criminal damage after causing £17.50 of damage to a jacket belonging to Mr Farage’s security officer.
Thomas-Bowen posted an Instagram video in which she appeared to gloat about her new-found fame as she strutted out of Westminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Shortly after the proceedings had ended, the model posted a raunchy mirror selfie accompanied by a link to Thomas-Bowen’s OnlyFans page.
Dramatic pictures showed how Thomas-Bowen dodged Mr Farage’s burly minders before flinging the contents of a McDonald’s cup towards him.
It caught him full in the face, completely drenching him in the liquid and leaving yellow liquid splattered across his dark blue suit.
Despite posting a video on X with the caption ‘my milkshake brings all the people to the rally’ in reference to the 2003 song Milkshake, Farage admitted it was ‘quite frightening’.
In the aftermath a soggy but defiant Farage was seen wiping the milkshake out of his eyes before continuing his campaign.
Thomas-Bowen had originally denied the charges and was due to go on trial at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday but changed her pleas to guilty before proceedings began.
The 25-year-old model also admitted criminal damage after causing £17.50 worth of damage to a jacket belonging to Mr Farage’s security officer James Woolfenden.
Deputy senior district judge Tan Ikram adjourned sentencing to December 16 and told the defendant: ‘You have pleaded guilty to, in my judgment, two serious charges.
‘This was an unprovoked, targeted attack now on an elected Member of Parliament.
‘I take a serious view of these offences. I am seeking a pre-sentence report which will consider all options for sentence.’
In a witness statement read out in court, Mr Farage said he was not injured but ‘this incident caused me concern as I have only been going about my job’ and that he tries to ‘have as much public engagement as possible’.
‘I’m saddened that this has happened at a public campaign,’ he added.
Thomas-Bowen was arrested shortly after the incident and told police in interview that she saw a post online advertising Mr Farage’s attendance that day, the court heard.
She told officers she ‘does not agree with his political views’.
She said she was outside the pub when she saw him leaving and decided to act because she ‘had the opportunity’.
Giving details from her police interview, prosecutor Nishma Shah told the court: ‘She acknowledges that this was an assault and that the liquid would have gone over the jackets of him and others and caused them to get cleaning, but she states that Nigel would be able to afford this.
‘She states she did not regret her actions.’
Thomas-Bowen told police she did not intend the cup to hit Mr Farage.
When questioned on why she changed her plea on the day of trial, Andrew Price, defending, told the judge: ‘This case has had a tremendous impact on this defendant.
‘There have been a number of threats made against this defendant and she as much as possible wanted to put it out of her mind and avoid making the decision that she ultimately has come to.’
The barrister earlier made a successful application to the court to allow his client not to read her address out in open court, explaining ‘very severe threats have been made’ concerning the case.
Thomas-Bowen was granted unconditional bail ahead of her sentencing.
The incident has led to wide condemnation from MPs all across the political spectrum including Labour’s Yvette Cooper who called it a ‘disgrace’ and ‘completely unacceptable and wrong’.
Thomas-Bowen, who films her X-rated video clips in the spare bedroom of her mother’s £260,000 house in Grays, told the BBC she flung the banana milkshake because she ‘just felt like it’.
‘He doesn’t stand for me’, the self-described ‘petite blonde pocket rocket’ added. ‘He doesn’t represent anything I believe in, or any of the people around here. He doesn’t represent us, he’s not from here.’
She has since posted support for her actions on her social media – who said they ‘could not be more proud’ of her.
She then posted a photo of herself dressed only in her underwear and sports socks in a provocative pose, alongside a link to her Onlyfans website and the lyrics to the song Milkshake.
Thomas-Bowen previously voiced her support for Jeremy Corbyn on Facebook and called for Britons to boycott the late Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Last November, the model flew out to Istanbul for a nose job.
She told her subscribers she underwent the procedure to make her nose ‘smaller’ and ‘prettier’.
Posting pictures of her recovery – and showing off the difference before and after – Thomas-Bowen said she loved her new nose ‘so much’ and was already breathing better.
Reacting to the incident, the Reform UK leader told ITV: ‘I don’t know what was thrown at me but it hit me in the face fair and square. Quite frightening.’
He went on to say he thinks he keeps having the dairy drink thrown at him because he goes ‘out to meet the public and nobody else does’.
The incident has echoes of 2019, when he fell victim to a similar stunt in Newcastle.
Thomas-Bowen, who studied law, math, sociology and business at college, has been involved in politics since the age of 15 and has ‘hated’ Mr Farage since his Brexit campaign.
Speaking to The Sun, she says once she heard he was visiting her home town she knew she wanted to go see him and hear what he had to say.
‘I have never agreed with his views on immigration or his approach to women,’ she said.
‘I hadn’t had any breakfast, and I was feeling quite lightheaded so I stopped at McDonalds on the way to the pier and got a banana milkshake.’
Thomas-Bowen had to elbow her way through the crowds to hurl the drink at Mr Farage as he made his way down the steps.
Some people have sent Thomas-Bowen ‘nice’ messages in support since the splattering with men signing up to her OnlyFans page ‘so I could buy a new milkshake’.
Although there have been negatives too, with online trolls targeting her by saying they would put her in a ‘cage’ and abusing her about her job.
