Onlyfans star Bonnie Blue has left people astounded with her alleged wild antics – but her life used to be vastly different.

The 25-year-old, who claims to earn a staggering £540,000 a month through her explicit content, has found her ‘niche’ targeting ‘barely legal 18-year-olds’ – even turning up to university campuses for Freshers Week to advertise her wares. Bonnie has sparked fury along the way, with a Change.org petition signed by concerned Australians, calling for ‘predatory’ Bonnie’s visa to be cancelled to put a stop to her plans to bed teenagers during ‘Schoolies’ week – a holiday awarded to pupils following their final exams.

But just a few short years ago, however, Derbyshire-born Bonnie was the very picture of ‘innocence’, with an ordinary job and marriage to her partner of nine years.

Before kickstarting her Onlyfans career, Bonnie’s life was perfectly ‘comfortable’, with all that you might expect from a girl who, by her own admission, grew up ‘quiet and reserved’, preferring countryside walks over booze or partying. Indeed, before she began creating her X-rated vids, Nottingham-born Bonnie claimed to have only slept with five people.

A recruitment consultant by trade, Bonnie settled down and married at an early age, but soon realised the conventional life wasn’t for her after all. Sick of working a ‘9 to 5’, and with cracks showing in her marriage, things came to a head when she and her husband made the move to Australia‘s Gold Coast in 2021.

It was then that Bonnie decided to uproot her life entirely, breaking up with her other half and setting up an Onlyfans account. Her business has proven to be lucrative, and, as reported by Cosmopolitan last month, Bonnie has made £3 million this year alone. Bonnie’s ex, who she is still on good terms with, appears to have no problem with her drastic career overhaul, even reportedly working with her behind the scenes.

Not everybody has been so understanding, however, and Bonnie has found herself having to explain her chosen path to those who knew her before she decided to pursue sex work. Bonnie told Yahoo! Lifestyle: “There’s been a lot of judgment and jealousy. I had an old friend come up to me and say that I have no respect for myself and don’t deserve any in return, and another close friend tells me how her friends think she shouldn’t be friends with me anymore.

“I don’t mind, they are judging me for having a million-dollar business whilst they live with their parents and have to work for someone else.” Bonnie has been able to count on her family for support, with Bonnie revealing that they’re her biggest fans. She shared: “My family is so proud of me, my dad loved it when I had someone come up and ask me for a photo the other day! They’ve even asked to be in my TikToks. I’ve recommended this job to many family members on this trip!”

This comes as Bonnie shared her reasoning for focusing her attention on young men, explaining that she found her ‘niche’ by exploiting a ‘gap in the market’. Bonnie told the Metro: “From a business point of view, it’s the most searchable category in the [adult content] hub – it’s the trending search and has been for a very, very long time – but it’s always been school girls as opposed to school boys.”

She continued: “There was money to be made because there’s a gap in the market for it being school boys. I call them ‘barely legal teens’ because I’m aware it’s going to get attention.” Bonnie went on to state that she has sex with a “high number” of students in one go because “freshers doesn’t last forever” and she views it as a chance to cash in.

In this same interview, Bonnie admitted that she ‘100 per cent’ engages in ‘rage bait’ when it comes to pulling in views, confessing: “Half the words I’ve used is because I’ve seen them in the hate comments. I’m going to use that to promote my next video. As soon as I saw the petition, I used that to promote my next Onlyfans video. The start of my Onlyfans video is a screenshot of the petition saying, ‘Hey, come and look at the videos that are trying to get me banned from Australia’.”
