• Amelia Lynne, 20, from Austin, Texas, has been addicted to drugs since 13
  • She changed her life around at 17 and got sober after entering rehab
  • When she was nearly homeless, she turned to OnlyFans to earn money

An OnlyFans model has lifted the lid on how the adults-only site saved her life and forced her to get sober once and for all.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Amelia Lynne lifted the lid on her shocking journey to sobriety as she credited OnlyFans for the roof over her head and claimed it was the reason she didn’t end up homeless after getting out of rehab.

The now 20-year-old began experimenting with drugs at just 13 years old and soon became addicted.

During her teen years, Amelia – who had a strained relationship with her mother – found herself using fentanyl and cocaine, causing her to eventually be kicked out of home and into rehab.

After getting out of rehab, the Austin, Texas-based teen was still embroiled in a spat with her mom, and was forced to get a job as a server and pay rent for a small apartment by herself.

However, when she was fired from her job, Amelia found herself struggling to make money and faced eviction.

That is until she thought to use her ‘very sexual’ personality to bring in money through OnlyFans.

Amelia’s raunchy idea to make cash by sharing saucy snaps proved genius as she now brands the site ‘life-saving’ because it stopped her from going back to drugs after losing her job.

She told DailyMail.com: ‘I have been using drugs since I was 13 and I started with weed and alcohol. By 15, I was using a lot of coke, and then by 16, I was using fentanyl. I got sober at 17.’

The 20-year-old revealed that she had attempted to get sober many times throughout her teen years, however, nothing worked, which further strained her relationship with her mom.

‘I was living with my mom on and off. She would kind of like kick me out at random. That was pretty common growing up, and when I was 17, addicted to fentanyl, I just knew that I needed to give rehab one last shot because I had been in so many programs as an adolescent,’ she explained.

Amelia – who has had a ‘rocky’ relationship with her mom her entire life – revealed that after she got sober, she cut off her family.

Because she had to be financially independent, Amelia spent all of her time working to pay bills and dropped out of high school.

Two months after Amelia moved into an apartment and out of sober living, she was fired from her job as a waitress and began snapping photos of herself to earn money.

She revealed: ‘I wanted to get on to make money. I realized it’s a pretty empowering industry. Honestly, it helps with a lot of my self-esteem, issues

‘I just needed money, I was about to be homeless, and I didn’t know what to do. I’ll just try it out because some people had really good luck on it.’

The brunette beauty revealed that she didn’t begin raking in cash until about six months into her OnlyFans career.

As months went on, Amelia began bringing in $5,000-a-month on OnlyFans and even began showcasing saucy snaps on other sites, bringing her income up to $20,000-a-month.

She revealed: ‘The money I make in one month on OnlyFans is more than my mom makes as a teacher.’

The brunette model revealed that she had brought in a whopping $600 with just one raunchy 10-minute Facetime call.

In addition to bringing in a flood of funds, Amelia revealed OnlyFans had also boosted her confidence.

She told DailyMail.com: ‘OnlyFans has honestly helped me in my sobriety journey, and my mental health journey in general.

‘It has forced me to focus more on myself because I’m selling myself as a person to my subscribers.

‘I go to the gym more because I realized that I wanted to be in better shape because unfortunately, bodies do matter in this industry, and I was a little bit on the chubbier side when I first started.

‘OnlyFans made me go to the gym and start practicing good eating habits and work out daily. And then that made me realize how beneficial exercise actually is to my mental health, and with the money I made from OnlyFans, I was able to start going to therapy.’

Despite helping her, the 20-year-old admitted that the raunchy site has caused her to compare herself to other creators on the site.

She revealed that she constantly thinks about how creators that are skinnier make more money, so she hits the gym more often.

Amelia, who has ‘lots of tattoos,’ also shared that she noticed that women who didn’t have any ink were raking in more funds than those that do.

I have 14 tattoos, and I’m getting them all removed for OnlyFans specifically because non-tatted girls do make more money,’ she said.

‘I’ve had to learn how to do my makeup properly,’ she added before revealing that she tended to straighten her natural curls to appeal to more clients.

Although the majority of her friends are supportive of her OnlyFans career, Amelia revealed she often got hate from trolls online.

However, she doesn’t let it affect her because she reminds herself of how successful she is.

‘I don’t really engage with a lot of negative comments. I do get hate comments, and I kind of just leave them there. I don’t delete them because it gives me more engagement on my platforms and boosts me in the algorithm. So I never delete any of them,’ she said.

‘I have a pretty high net worth for being only 20 years old. It’s not an extremely high net worth, but for being 20, it’s higher than most people. I have my own apartment at 20. I pay all of my own bills at 20 years old.

‘Who can say that? Not a lot of people, and not the people that are commenting hate comments, no one who is commenting hate comments is doing something good with their time.’
