Kat, who is originally from Sydney, Australia, used to see her family on a weekly basis before she joined the site in September 2021.
Since then, she claims she has been cast adrift from her parents, who raised her in a single-income household as an only child.
Kat told the Daily Star: “It’s my body and I’m still the same person.
“I think my family’s conservative perspective is that they can’t be seen or associated with me because of my job.”
What is OnlyFans?
OnlyFans is a subscription content service based in London.
As of 2023, it is thought to have more than 220million registered users and over three million content creators.
Sex workers charge monthly fees for access to pictures, videos and more.
While popular for porn, the site isn’t exclusively designed with that in mind – anyone who wants to build up a fan base and charge them for it can set one up.
Celebs like Katie Price and Kerry Katona are popular personalities on the platform.
“Whether you’re uploading tutorials, tips, behind-the-scenes footage or just endless selfies, a lot of your followers would be willing to pay for them,” the company states.
For every subscription that’s sold to a viewer, performers get 80 per cent of the cash while OnlyFans gets the rest.
It isn’t limited to adult content, as it has become popular with physical fitness experts and musicians.
Despite her initial upset, she claimed that she has “no regrets” about her career path.
She added: “Essentially I earn a lot more than any of my family ever did in the last 12 years of their careers.
They want nothing to do with me

“So I’m still really far ahead and they’re still working every day. It’s quite funny really.”
Despite being cold shouldered by her family, Kat, who lives in a $1m (AUD – £500,000) three-bedroom property in Brisbane and has 671,000 followers on Instagram, is still able to offer to help her parents out financially with things like groceries and electricity bills.

The former admin worker added: “I’ve offered them a couple of thousand dollars here and there.
“Most of the time they won’t take it. They say they’re not taking it because they want nothing to do with me.”
