In yet another sponsorship devlopment, Emma Olofsson is now riding for OnlyFans. Originally from southern Sweden, Emma first discovered mountain biking in 2014. After a few years of traveling and moving around, she eventually landed in Queenstown in 2017—a place known for having one of the best bike parks in the world. It was here she fully dove into the sport, starting out on an old, beat up downhill bike that sparked her love for descending. Her passion and talent have since taken her around the globe. Known for tricks like no-footed can-cans and steezy whips, Olofsson has a style all her own–on and off the bike.
Other sponsors
Olofsson is no slouch on the sponsorship front. She’s made a name for herself at events like the Backyard Battle and through social media content. And with 174,000 Instagram followers she provides plenty of exposure for her sponsors including YT Bikes, Pit Viper, Deity, Ridewrap, Goodyear, Loose Riders and Juice Lubes.
What to expect
While what fans can expect on OnlyFans is always debatable, Emma promises to bring the best content possible. “Everything from bike adventures and behind the scenes moments to tips, workouts and personal life insights,” she said in an Instagram post.
Not everyone is a fan of OnlyFans
Emma Olofsson is part of a growing roster of athletes signed on to represent OnlyFans. As the platform expands its presence, it is providing support to athletes across a wide range of sports from motorsports to mountain biking. Lewis Buchanan was the first mountain biker to sign on to represent OnlyFans at the start of 2023.
That quickly earned Buchanan a ban on racing UCI events from cycling’s ever-conservative governing body. UCI argued Buchanan’s partnership with OnlyFans violated Article 1.1.089 of its regulations. That article states riders must not be associated with “tobacco, spirits, pornographic products or any other products that might damage the image of the UCI or the sport of cycling in general.” UCI argued that OnlyFans history as a platform which allows pornographic content put Buchanan on the wrong side of that law. He argued that such content is not the sole or primary or sole content on the platform.
