Strictly finalist John Whaite has become the first former Great British Bake Off star to join X-rated subscription site OnlyFans.
John, 35, who won the third series of the baking show impressing judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood in 2012, launched his profile under the name ‘Jonny Boy’, writing in his bio: ‘The side of me you haven’t seen… yet.’
He has signed up to OnlyFans, promising to share ‘solo’ and ‘collaborative’ content at a cost of £10 per month or £27 for a three-month package, three years after starring on BBC‘s Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV star reached the final alongside professional dancer Johannes Radebe, 37, who he later confessed to ‘falling in love’ with and needing to take timeout from his long-term relationship.
But John and husband Paul Atkins are still going strong, last week celebrating their first wedding anniversary after narrowly avoiding the Strictly curse.
John’s signup to OnlyFans comes after he left Steph’s Packed Lunch when the daytime show was cancelled in 2023, and he announced his ‘career in television is now done.’
John told MailOnline: ‘Since leaving the TV industry, I decided to focus on business.
‘Now I run two fairly successful and exciting businesses.
‘One sells brownies and cookies while the other is a meatier enterprise…
‘If you want to buy my sweet treats head to Ruff Puff Brownies and if you want to buy my meat head to my OnlyFans page.’
John was beaten in the Strictly final by EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis who took home the glitter ball trophy in 2021.
During the competition, he formed a close relationship with Johannes after the pair became Strictly’s first all-male partnership.
He later told in an interview of how he had developed strong feelings for the dancer, saying: ‘When you’re physically pressed against another man for ten hours a day, things move emotionally. So, I fell in love with him.’
John described performing with Johannes as ‘transcendent’ and said they both felt that ‘dancing together healed some deep, homophobic wounds inflicted over the years.’
The Strictly star admitted he was honest with his partner of 17 years about his feelings for Johannes, saying , ‘All the way through, me and Paul discussed it.’
He told The Times: ‘You go through life being told that you’ll fall in love with someone, you’ll get married, you’ll have children and that’s it. But love can’t just be directed to one person.
‘The heart can easily split into two or three or four. And those loves aren’t mutually exclusive.’
John has joined OnlyFans after leaving his cookery gig on Steph’s Packed Lunch, with the show being axed in 2023.
After quitting the daytime programme hosted by Steph McGovern John announced that he had quit TV for good.
He said: ‘This is the truth, I was going to leave TV this year anyway.
‘That’s why I’ve been off Packed Lunch for a couple of weeks just to get my head in gear and I had just about come to the conclusion that I think my career in television is now done.
‘I’ve had a great run, loved it, and I’ll do the odd bit here and there but I need to focus my attention on business and my creativity, so that’s where I am.’
