More Lily Allen More Lily Allen

Lily Allen has opened up at the surprising “eye-opening,” “horrible” messages she’s received since starting an OnlyFans for feet pics.

Last week, it was reported that Allen is selling photos of her feet via a $10 subscription on OnlyFans under the name Lily Allen FTSE500. Upon launching the account and sharing six feet pics, the Smile singer amassed over 200 “likes”.

In a recent episode of her Miss Me? podcast with co-host Miquita Oliver, Allen said about her feet before she started the OnlyFans account: “I have a lady who comes and does my nails, and they informed me that I have five stars on WikiFeet, which is quite rare. But yes, my feet are rated quite highly on the internet.”

Allen called WikiFeet “a Wikipedia for famous people’s feet” and recalled her nail technician telling her that she could “make a lot of money” from selling feet pictures on OnlyFans.

The news that Allen started an OnlyFans account was understandably big news. It was covered not only by music media but also by mainstream publications like news.com.au, the Daily Mail, and more. Unfortunately, the news has led to Allen receiving a barrage of online abuse.

Discussing the messages she’s received in the last two weeks on the Miss Me? podcast with Oliver, Allen explained, “It is going very well. It’s been a real eye-opener.

“Obviously, after our podcast last week, it had been quite widely reported about me and my foray into creating feet content. I’ve had a lot of disparaging, horrible messages in my DMs. I’m talking really personal, nasty.”

Adding that she’s been on the receiving end of abuse from men making judgmental comments about her choices, Allen said, “It seems to me what I’m taking from these, mainly men, is that women should only really be selling images of herself or access to her body when it is an absolute last resort.”

She continued, “I think it’s a socio-economic issue in a lot of ways, the fact that I’m making money from this podcast and that I’m in a relationship – which, by the way, my husband [Stranger ThingsDavid Harbour] happens to support the choices that I make – and I have kids means that I shouldn’t you know be ‘stooping so low’ as to be profiting from my own body.”

Lily Allen’s most recent album, No Shame, was released in June 2018, and she toured Australia in February 2019. You can find The Music’s review of her show at the Enmore Theatre here.
