Tori Spelling is a supportive friend. She’s so supportive that she spent hundreds of dollars on her friend Denise Richards’ OnlyFans account. And her then-husband, Dean McDermott almost got blamed for her charges.

Tori talked about the funny misunderstanding on her MisSpelling podcast and admitted to not quite knowing how the site worked. She and Denise had discussed OnlyFans before and she was just trying to support her friend on the platform.

Tori admitted that their business manager thought Dean had spent the money on OnlyFans

The actress and author was still together with Dean during the time and the couple were preparing for the holidays when the subject of OnlyFans came up. Tori defended the site having discussed it previously with Denise.

Denise joined the site after her daughter, Sami Sheen, got backlash for opening an OnlyFans account. And now she says her OnlyFans is quite lucrative (Sami earns enough to pay her rent among other things). She even urged Tori to join.

For her part, Tori said she subscribed to Denise’s account to support her friend, not knowing fully how the platform worked. “OnlyFans, they are brilliant,” Tori admitted. “Cause let me just tell you, they get you hooked. It alludes to the fact that if you subscribe and pay a fee you’ll get something special from Denise. So I did and I waited.”

She even messaged Denise asking about thinking they were going to be like her “actual DMs”. Tori eventually received a message saying that Denise included an option to pay for additional content that she purchased.

The next day, her business manager contacted her about the charges.

“Long story short, my business manager calls me and says that she thinks Dean was on OnlyFans looking at girls.”

Tori cleared that up and Dean was off the hook for the OnlyFans spend which was just Tori trying to support her friend. And it looks like we’re going to learn more about Denise’s OnlyFans (and maybe Sami’s too) when their new show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things drops this March.

Denise Richards & Her Wild Things premieres on Tuesday, March 4, at 9/8c on Bravo.
