BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – One Bryan County woman is in custody for illegally using funds from a high school soccer team.
The president of the boys and girls soccer team booster club at Richmond Hill High School, Susan Nelson, was arrested on January 31, 2025 and is currently in the Bryan County jail.
According to Richmond Hill Police Department (RHPD), Nelson faces charges of defrauding another, theft by deception, theft by conversion, forgery to the 3rd degree, criminal receipt of goods or services, which are all felonies.
Nelson also has a misdemeanor deposit account fraud charge.
She was reported to police in October by a high school administrator who suspected booster funds were being misused.
RHPD says they don’t have an exact dollar amount, but Nelson was using the money on OnlyFans and for other illegitimate purposes.
