There’s an undeniable appeal to posting a few pictures of yourself and receiving thousands of dollars.

However, it’s not always that simple.

DailyMail.com had the opportunity to interview OnlyFans star Paislee Bial, 30, and dive into what really goes on behind the scenes.

She boasts over 51,000 followers on Instagram and has amassed thousands of likes on her racy content on OnlyFans.

The brunette beauty told FEMAIL she started her account back in June 2023.

The 30-year-old, from Brazil, said she quit her previous job in April of that year and spent about three months researching before joining the X-rated site.

When asked about the goal she had when setting up her account, she said: ‘I had this grand vision of rolling in cash like a cartoon villain.

‘My goal was to hit $20,000 a month right in the beginning.

DailyMail.com had the opportunity to interview OnlyFans star Paislee Bial, 30, and dive into what goes on behind the scenes in both her work and her mental state

She boasts over 51,000 followers on Instagram (@ladypaislee) and thousands of likes on her hundreds of pictures and almost 60 videos on OnlyFans

‘Turns out, it’s a bit more complex than just existing online and waiting for the money to rain down. Who knew?’

Though she hasn’t hit her goal just yet, Paislee still manages to make anywhere between $3,000 to $9,400 a month.

But despite the money steadily rolling in, the adult content creator got candid about the realities of her new profession.

When asked to detail the wildest requests from fans, she explained: ‘I feel like the “dark side” doesn’t even apply to the peculiar requests we have.

‘Handling judgmental people, especially when it comes to dating, can impact more.’

The star continued: ‘To start, I am non-monogamous and people can’t handle that well even when there’s nothing to do with them.

‘About requests, sure there’s always different things.

‘It’s funny because that’s the most asked question, but after a while, you start to find the requests normal, even the ones you don’t fully understand.

‘For example, this person wanted me to walk in red JELL-O and moan as if I was loving it.

‘Sometimes I think they ask for this stuff just to mess with us.’

DailyMail.com asked whether there was ever a point she wanted to quit because the attention got to be too much.

Paislee said: ‘Yes, but then I remember I’m my own boss.

‘I work in my pajamas, and the alternative is dealing with a “Karen” at a corporate job.

‘The real challenge is keeping up with the constant demand for new content while also dodging the occasional existential crisis.’

The Brazilian bombshell said she initially thought the work would be easy.

‘I thought I’d post a few pictures, make minimal effort, and the money would flow in,’ she explained.

Paislee opened up about the 'dark side' of the industry

‘Instead, I learned I needed to be a full-time marketer, psychologist, actress, and negotiator all at once.

‘It’s like running a 24/7 business where your inventory is… well, you.’

She then broke down what it meant to be a ‘content machine,’ explaining: ‘When I started, I thought it was just about looking good on camera.

‘Nope. It’s a psychological chess game mixed with high-level marketing.’

She said there are three roles she has to fill as an OnlyFans creator.

‘You have to be a content machine. Constantly innovating, keeping things fresh, and making sure people don’t get bored,’ she described.

She said it's not only about what you post, it's a 'psychological chess game mixed with high-level marketing'

‘You need to be a sales expert. Convincing people they need what you’re offering even when we have so much free content out there.

‘And then, you’re basically a therapist. Because people don’t just subscribe for the visuals.

‘They want a fantasy, an escape, or sometimes just someone to talk to at 2am about their weirdly specific problems.’

She ended with a warning: ‘So if you think it’s just about being cute online, you’re in for a rude awakening.

‘It’s less “easy money” and more “welcome to the circus, you’re now the ringleader.”‘
