“Harry Potter” star Jessie Cave has launched a “niche” OnlyFans account with the hopes of getting “out of debt.”
The 37-year-old actress, best known for playing Ron Weasley’s one-time girlfriend Lavender Brown, announced Monday that she’s joining the adult content platform to highlight the long blond locks that go down to her hips.
“I’m starting an Only Fans for my hair. It’s niche even for me. Join me on this strange new journey,” Cave captioned a clip of the announcement on Instagram. In a follow-up Story on Tuesday, she thanked fans for their “interest and/or lack of judgement.”
Cave says that she won’t be posting sexually explicit content but instead “very sensual stuff with my hair,” hoping to appeal to those with hair fetishes. She also says she’ll be taking requests.
“It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual,” she said on “Before We Break Up Again,” the podcast she hosts with her partner, comedian Alfie Brown. She’s said that she’s aiming for “a kind of very pure aesthetic” she calls “Slutty Mormon.”
In a separate post on Substack, Cave further explained that her decision to join the platform was driven by financial struggles, as well as a desire to separate herself from her “good girl” image.
“My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt,” she wrote, according to Variety. “To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet. … Ripping up the good little actress rule book.”
As of late Tuesday afternoon, Cave’s OnlyFans is live and has been liked 265 times. She’s also leaning into the “Harry Potter” aesthetic, donning a Hogwarts-like school girl uniform in her cover image.
