Michael Hall was given 32 years in prison for violating his suspended sentence terms. He originally faced 120 days in county jail and a 10-year suspended sentence.

VAN BUREN, Ark. — A Van Buren man who pleaded guilty to attempted human trafficking and other charges in December 2024 has received a more severe punishment for violating the terms and conditions of his suspended sentence, according to Crawford County Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Holmes

On Dec. 17, 2024, Michael Wayne Hall pleaded guilty to attempted human trafficking, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of terroristic threatening. Prosecutors said Hall was making “hundreds of thousands of dollars” selling pornography that depicted “legal-age girls acting as teenagers.”

According to an affidavit, one of the victims said OnlyFans was Hall’s full-time job when they moved to Van Buren in 2023.

After his conviction, Hall was considered a habitual offender “for all future criminal activity.” He was given 120 days in county jail and a 10-year suspended imposition of sentence.

Additionally, Hall was ordered not to “film, participate in, direct, upload or transmit pornography of any matter.” He was also prohibited from buying or selling it.

However, in January, Holmes filed a petition to revoke Hall’s suspended sentence for violating the conditions of his release. The filing said Hall allegedly committed new offenses of harassing communications and unlawful distribution of sexual images or recordings, as well as violating the terms of his suspended sentence.

“[Hall] has asked, solicited, suggested, transmitted and/or engaged in pornography,” the filing said.

Hall was located and arrested in Orlando, Florida, by the United States Marshals Services (USMS) on Jan. 22, 2025.

On March 18, Holmes announced that Hall was sentenced to 32 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

“We knew it was just a matter of time, but it happened way sooner than we expected,” Holmes wrote on Facebook.
