An OnlyFans model, Michaela Rylaarsdam, has been charged with second-degree murder after a BDSM session with client Michael Dale went fatally wrong, leading to his alleged suffocation.

A 31-year-old OnlyFans model has been charged with murder after one of her acts, of what appeared to be bondage, discipline, dominance, submission, sadism, and masochism — more commonly referred to as BDSM, with a man who had paid her, went wrong.
According to a report with The San Diego Union-Tribune, the man had paid Michaela Brashaye Rylaarsdam $11,000 (approximately Rs 9,57,656 in Indian currency) to engage in fetish acts.

A court document in the case revealed Rylaarsdam was recording the act to use on her OnlyFans page.
As the police saw the video, they found 55-year-old Michael Dale in the bag for at least eight minutes.
She also allegedly glued boots to his feet, which a court document indicated was done at his request, the report claimed.
Dale died two years back, at his home in California’s Escondido. However, the OnlyFans model was charged with his murder only last month.
The report quoted Deputy District Attorney David Jarman, prosecuting the case, as saying that the facts support a second-degree murder charge.
The OnlyFans model’s lawyer, however, opined that there was no intent to kill.
VICTIM HAD REQUESTED MODEL TO ‘WRAP HIM LIKE A MUMMY’
The OnlyFans model, as per the report, told investigators that Dale had first reached out to her after he had spotted her on a website, commonly used for escort or stripper services.
Later, in texts and phone calls in March and April of 2023, Dale made some unusual requests to Rylaarsdam, including that she wrap him like a mummy in Saran wrap and glue a pair of women’s boots onto his feet, the report quoted the affidavit.
The police alleged the OnlyFans model had arrived at the victim’s home on April 17, 2023, and that Dale appeared intoxicated at that time.
Rylaarsdam, however, decided to spend the next several hours with Dale and engaged in fetish behaviour at Dale’s request, according to the affidavit.
Nearly four hours later, the police received a call and upon their arrival, they saw Rylaarsdam performing CPR on Dale.
Dale was hospitalised and declared brain dead the following day. Several days later, he was taken off life-support.
Authorities allege he was suffocated. His cause of death was linked to deprivation of oxygen to the brain, the report claimed.
ONLYFANS MODEL PERFORMED SEX ACT WHILE HER CLIENT WAS UNRESPONSIVE
The document stated that moments before the 911 call was made, the OnlyFans model performed a sex act nearby, probably because she was creating content for her page, even as Dale lay unresponsive.
She, however, denied putting the bag over the victim’s head, the report quoted the police as saying.
The evidence in the case indicated that Dale paid the hefty amount to Rylaarsdam to “have conversations with him, and to come to his house, tie him up and perform other acts of bondage,” the affidavit stated.
TROUBLING VIDEOS FOUND ON ONLYFANS MODEL’S PHONE
As the probe deepened, the investigators in the case found several troubling videos of Dale on Rylaarsdam’s phone, the affidavit read.
One of the videos showed Dale struggling to breathe as he had duct tape over his mouth, a plastic bag over his head and more cling wrap, then duct tape, around his face and head.
His wrists were bound, his fingers were covered in duct tape and his legs were plastic-wrapped.
The affidavit claims he was unable to remove the bag or wrappings over his head, as per the report.
