Alexander Skarsgård brought OnlyFans onto the red carpet without posting a single clip. According to WWD‘s Jaden Thompson, the actor wore Saint Laurent’s clear men’s lace-ups, named O.Fan, to the BFI London Film Festival screening of Wicker on October 8.
A shoe named after a platform
The TPU derbies came from Saint Laurent’s spring 2027 men’s runway. Freelance design director Corrado De Biase told WWD the name is literal: “those shoes are called ‘O. Fan,’ like OnlyFans,” because showing feet on the platform has become an obsession in gay communities. “So why not celebrate this?” he said. E! News‘s Gabrielle Chung also quoted De Biase calling it a joke about why “men are scared to show their feet.”
The rest of the look
Vogue noted he went sockless with a gold Saint Laurent suit and no shirt. Harper’s Bazaar‘s Joel Calfee called it a move from “the kinky boot to the naked shoe,” and W Magazine‘s Kyle Munzenrieder pointed out the shoes had been on the runway but hadn’t hit a red carpet until now.
The takeaway
When a luxury house names a shoe after OnlyFans and a Hollywood star wears it to a premiere, the platform has crossed into mainstream culture. Foot content isn’t a punchline anymore. It’s a fashion reference.
