She threw her banana milkshake at the politician. However, her well-aimed toss wasn’t just a viral stunt—it came with some very real legal consequences attached.

She’s been publicly outspoken about her political leanings, never shying away from an opportunity to share her personal ideology. She’s known to proudly support the Labour Party, and until recently, she was more known for her internet clout than for courtroom drama.

Nigel Farage is the leader of Reform UK, the former UKIP, and the head of the Brexit Party. He’s been a controversial figure in British politics, and a key player behind making Brexit happen. Clearly, he’s a polarizing figure. He was in Clacton launching his election campaign when he happened to be spotted by an OnlyFans creator with a milkshake and good aim.

Farage was exiting a pub in June of 2024 when Victoria Thomas Bowen clocked him while holding a banana milkshake. The drink landed on the British politician—and his security staff—in the face. The creator has insisted that she acted on impulse out of opposition to his politics.

Bowen was arrested and later pleaded guilty to assault and criminal damage. She was sentenced to: 13 weeks in prison (suspended to 12 months), 120 hours of community service, 15 days of rehab activities, and £150 due to Farage, with £17.50 for the damage to a security guard’s jacket that absorbed some of the tasty treat. Bowen has more or less owned her actions. She’s accepted her sentence without excuse and has said that she’ll fulfill her obligations. Despite the public backlash, she’s continued to own her actions without backpedaling. One has to admire her maturity in the way she’s handled herself since the incident. It wasn’t her finest moment, but she’s owned it well.
