Lily Allen has boldly defended her side hustle on OnlyFans, telling her followers that she earns more from selling pictures of her feet than from her substantial Spotify streams.
Allen first launched her OnlyFans account in July, following a suggestion from her pedicurist who told her she had a five-star rating on WikiFeet, Billboard reported.
“I have a lady that comes and does my nails,” Allen told her “Miss Me?” podcast co-host Miquita Oliver at the time. “She said that I could make a lot of money from selling foot content on OnlyFans. And I’m like, ‘Not no.'”
Soon after, Allen learned just how lucrative it was. However, that did come with public criticism for being on the platform.
Allen recently clapped back at fans on Friday, telling them she makes about $10,000 per month from OnlyFans with only 1,000 subscribers.
The singer compared that to her Spotify royalties, which amount to a fraction of that despite having nearly 8 million monthly listeners.
“[I]magine being and artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on spotify but earning more money from having 1000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet. don’t hate the player, hate the game,” Allen wrote on X.
