Wanda Nara is an Argentinian model, mother of five, and ex-wife to two soccer stars (Maxi Lopez and Mauro Icardi) — and one of the latest celebrities to join OnlyFans. Unlike many who have joined the platform to make extra cash or headlines, Nara is doing it in response to a court-ordered 30-day ban on her mainstream social media accounts.

OnlyFans is a subscription-based platform that is primarily known for its X-rated adult content, though it’s not clear if Nara plans to post that kind of pornographic content on her account. But she is using the newly created OnlyFans account to seemingly follow the letter of the law, if not the spirit.

That court order comes from an Argentinian judge and is for the 38-year-old to refrain from posing on her Instagram, TikTok and Facebook accounts for 30 days. It seems the order hasn’t taken effect just yet, as Nara posted an Instagram story that read, “I never fail, I always take flight.”

She later added: “I don’t know whether they will close my accounts or not. My lawyer is working on it, but it would be incredibly unfair because they are one of my main sources of income. It’s really unfair.”

Why exactly was the court order issued? It seems that Nara was previously ordered to return her children to their father, ex-husband Mauro Icardi. Her failure to do so before the deadline set by the judge let to the new order to refrain from using social media

The former couple has had a contentious relationship since their split, which is a continuation of the drama that occurred when the couple began. Nara used to be married to Icardi’s former Sampdoria teammate Maxi López — and that marriage ended after her relationship with Icardi had begun and was revealed.

Icardi and Nara married not long after her divorce to López was finalized in 2014, and two children came not long after. The eldest daughter, Francesca, was born in 2015, and her sister Isabella followed the next year in 2016. Both children were born in Milan, whether that’s due to Icardi’s career or his own Italian heritage (he boasts an Italian passport.)

Their relationship was rocky from the start, and in 2021 Nara used Instagram to convey a message that seemed to be directed at Icardi that read someone had “ruined another family for a slut”, referring to the alleged relationship Icardi had begun with María Eugenia Suárez. Nara took her kids away from Icardi at the time — the two they had together, along with her other three children — but the couple later reconciled, something she also announced via Instagram.

Nara used the platform to confirm their relationship’s on-again, off-again status until their official separation was announced late last year.

Nara continues to use social media to share her private affairs, as well as posts of her children. And even though she’s been ordered to stop, it’s not clear if she will really turn to OnlyFans for her social media fix or if she’ll keep using Instagram and her other go-tos. She still seems to be posting on them regularly for now.
