It’s been a while since Denise Richards was an official cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, the legendary blonde bombshell will soon make her grand return to Bravo. This time, she’s starring in a family-based show called Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. Recently, she and her daughters sat down for an interview where they discussed everything from Only Fans to where she stands with Charlie Sheen today.
Fans will recall that Denise Richards made headlines when her daughter, Sami Sheen, joined OnlyFans at the age of 18. Following this, Denise joined the platform herself, which has been discussed on RHOBH.
Recently, Denise and her daughters, Sami, Lola, and Eloise, sat down for an interview with PEOPLE. They began the interview by discussing the upcoming show, which recently premiered its first trailer. About the direction of the series, Denise said, “We’re just trying to be ourselves because that’s how I’ve always approached reality for better or worse.”
Sami chimed in and said, “I’ve always said we need a reality show. Anything that went wrong or happened in our family, I would say, ‘Where are the cameras? We need to be filming this.’”
One of Denise’s daughters, Eloise, is actually adopted, and she has a chromosomal disorder that has caused developmental delays. Regarding Eloise, Denise explained, “Eloise is very observant and understands everything. Sometimes, when the girls go at each other, she just raises her eyebrows, and then they laugh and can get past whatever stupid thing they’re fighting about.”
They then began to discuss the two older daughters and how they dealt with Denise’s divorce from Charlie. According to her, “They’ve been through a lot. I did my best to shelter them. There were times they were upset with me, but I tell them there’s no handbook. I did the best I could under the circumstances.”
The topic of OnlyFans then came up. Sami explained why she joined the platform by saying, “I really wanted to get an apartment, and I knew that working at the candy shop I was working at wasn’t going to cut it. So I went to the next best thing and made an OnlyFans.”
The interviewer then asked about Denise’s experience with OF, and she responded by also addressing Sami joining OF.
“At first, I didn’t understand what OnlyFans was. When I saw that she was getting backlash for owning her sexuality and doing what she wanted to do, it upset me as a mom and also as a woman in business,” said Denise.
Denise didn’t reveal how much she has made from OnlyFans, but she insisted, “It’s quite lucrative.”
The former RHOBH star then revealed where she stands with Charlie and what he thinks of them doing a reality show. According to her, “He saw the trailer and sent me such a wonderful, sweet, positive text. I was actually really surprised. It meant a lot to me.”
She went on, “Charlie is always invited to holiday dinners. There’s always an open door and that goes for Brooke and the boys as well. I’m always, the more the merrier. I want everyone to get along and everyone to be peaceful.”
Notably, Denise also took care of Charlie and Brooke Mueller‘s twins in 2013 when she lost custody due to issues with substance abuse. She explained, “I’m grateful we were able to help them during that time.”
It’s also important to note that Brooke will appear in the upcoming show, but Charlie will not. Denise says that Charlie has been “supportive from day one” of the new reality show.
Fans can watch Denise & Her Wild Things on Bravo on March 4. It will stream on Peacock the next day.
