Actress Jessie Cave, who many may recognize as Ronald Weasley’s love interest Lavender Brown in Harry Potter, announced she is launching an OnlyFans account for her hair.
“I am launching an OnlyFans, it’s not a sexual one,” she announced on her Before We Break Up Again podcast. “It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual.”
She also gave a sneak peek on Instagram of what fans should expect from her new career path. The video showed Cave brushing her long hair to demonstrate the “hair stuff” she will be offering paid subscribers on OnlyFans. “The best quality hair sounds, you need to hear the brushing,” she explained. “I’m going for a very pure aesthetic… Just very sensual stuff with my hair.”
She then vowed there would be “no feet or bums” featured on the OnlyFans page – just hair.
Cave – who has continued acting since starring in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, as well as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 – said in her Substack that she plans to use the OnlyFans money to renovate her home and seek self-empowerment.
“One year. I’ll try for one year. My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself?” she wrote, per Variety. “To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”
Cave added that it felt “naughty” to join OnlyFans, even if it is to share non-sexual content.
“Were my years of Harry Potter conventions in fact research?” she wrote in the Substack. “[It feels] like I’m doing something naughty, something a little fucked up. I like that. Ripping up the good little actress rule book.”
Cave isn’t the only actress to pivot to OnlyFans for some extra cash.
Sopranos star Drea de Matteo has publicly praised the platform, saying it “saved” her life and her home.
“100 percent. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us,” she told The Daily Mail in 2024, later adding, “I got a lot of heat for doing it and it went fucking viral and people went nuts.”
