‘It would have happened at that time at any job I worked at’
Preschool teacher turned influencer Michael Duvall has issued a 10-minute statement apologising for his actions after he was called out for filming OnlyFans content at a pre-kindergarten daycare.
Controversy and OnlyFans seem to go hand in hand at the moment, from the model who was dumped on the road with a broken spine to the woman who is facing murder charges over an x-rated stunt gone wrong.
This week, content creator Michael Duvall was in the hot seat after it emerged that before his social media career, he had filmed x-rated content in the bathroom of his workplace. Two years into his influencer career, during which he has accumulated over 900k followers on TikTok and nearly 700k followers on Instagram, Michael has posted a lengthy statement addressing the controversy.
People spotted Michael Duvall’s daycare content on OnlyFans
People on TikTok, Reddit, and Twitter have been dragging Michael Duvall for filming content at his previous job back in 2022. The five videos in question were initially still up on his OnlyFans account, but he’s since removed them.
Taking to TikTok last week with a 10-minute video about the controversy, Michael explained how, at the time, he was posting “thousands of times a day” on seedy Reddit pages, OnlyFans, and Twitter.
“I was working as a preschool teacher, technically pre-kindergarten, and so I had a lot of free time at work where I would post on those apps. I did go to the bathroom a few times and snap a nude,” he said. “Fast forward to the day I took my first nude at work. I honestly don’t remember it, but I do remember that I would get paid like $45 to take a picture. They’d say, ‘Go take it,’ and I would. Now I never did any of this clocked in.”
Though some people on TikTok claimed he was filming content in the next room over, Michael said that wasn’t the case. Instead, he was making OnlyFans content in an upstairs bathroom that was exclusively for adults and staff.
“There is definitely no excuse, but I do just want to say that it would have happened at that time at any job I worked at,” he added. “If I was working at the movie theater, still would have happened there. Instead, it just so happened to be at the daycare, which makes everything so much more worse.”
He was ‘blinded’ by the money
@michaelduvallxo ive never been good with words but i just wanted you to know the full story from my mouth #fyp im sorry to everyone i let down
We’ve heard time and time again that OnlyFans is an incredibly lucrative business and Michael said that he was “blinded by the money” that subsequently allowed him to start his influencer career.
“There’s no reason or excuse,” Michael explained. “I should have waited till I got home. I guess I was just too focused on the money, and at that time, I hadn’t started my social media career. I was really focused on the success I was getting on OnlyFans and all the money I was earning. I used that money to start my shopping vlogs, and that’s how I got started on social media full time.”
He apologised for his actions, calling them ‘gross’
Throughout the video, Michael Duvall apologised for the OnlyFans content at his former daycare over and over again, but unfortunately, he then followed that with some sort of justification.
“People have a way of making it sound a lot worse than it really was, and I know it was that, but there was truly no ill intention,” he shared. “I was going through a lot in my life, and the only thing I had control over was my OnlyFans. So, I was really hyped for it at the moment, but when I joined social media, I realized that’s where my focus was at, and that’s what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.”
OnlyFans has been approached for comment.
