A former reality TV producer who worked on the Real Housewives franchise is now making porn for a living after being ‘iced out’ of the TV industry.

Patrick McDonald claimed in a series of explosive videos on Instagram this week that production companies had stopped working with him after his side hustle as an OnlyFans creator came to light.

The 39-year-old worked on a number of hit shows for Bravo over the years, including The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Potomac, Atlanta, and Orange County, as well as the Summer House spin-off Winter House.

He even attended the Emmy Awards when Vanderpump Rules was nominated last year.

But despite his success in the industry, Patrick found production to be a grueling job and wanted to have more flexibility in his career, so he started doing OnlyFans with his porn star boyfriend Logan Stevens.

Once he started creating X-rated content, he said that people in the industry went ‘radio silent’ on him.

While he says being ghosted by some of his former employers ‘hurt his feelings,’ Patrick insisted that he’s never been happier now that he’s doing OnlyFans for a living.

‘On most of these shows you’re working 12 hour days, six days a week, three to four months at a time,’ he said on Instagram.

‘Then I’d look at these people in my life who are content creators and they’re working far less than me, making a lot more money than me, doing whatever they want, whenever they want, living a life of freedom,’ he continued.

‘By contrast, I started to look at how much of my life I was devoting to work and it really made me start to question what I was doing with my life.’

He also blasted the reality TV industry, calling it a ‘toxic work culture’ and claiming that many of the showrunners on shows he’d worked on seemed ‘unhappy, lonely, and miserable.’

‘Honestly, adult entertainment is something I’ve been interested in doing for a long time, but I was too scared to do it because of the fear of what other people might think,’ he said.

‘And I’ve been having such a blast making this content for the last few months. I mean, working with the Housewives can be fun at times, but travelling the world to film with some of the most beautiful men on the planet is also a pretty top tier job.’

He added, ‘Sex work is real legitimate work and it has been since the dawn of time.’

Patrick’s videos exposing the production industry has been gaining traction on social media and among Bravo superfans.

A number of Real Housewives stars have even thrown their support behind the raunchy content creator, including Crystal Minkoff, Jennifer Tilly, Marlo Hampton, Candiace Dillard, and Sutton Stracke.

But despite the attention that Patrick’s tell-all is getting from Bravo fans, insiders at the network are ‘unbothered’ by the videos.

One source close to the situation told DailyMail.com that Bravo doesn’t even know Patrick personally and that the network has no involvement in the hiring or firing process at production companies.

‘There’s definitely people in the industry that have sympathy for him, but nobody thinks this is going to spark the next Reality Reckoning or anything like that,’ said another insider.

‘But I’m sure it’ll get him a few more OnlyFans subscribers,’ they sniffed.
