If there’s money to be made on OnlyFans, then best believe internet personality Tana Mongeau is going to capitalize on it.

Within the last few years, OnlyFans has gained popularity with content creators, especially more daring ones, because of its profitability. Tana is one of the lucky few to strike gold on OF, and she has no problem with flaunting her accomplishment. While OnlyFans has a reputation for being a pornographic platform because it got its start by allowing creatives to sell X-rated images or videos for a monthly fee, it has evolved. OnlyFans isn’t only for adult entertainment content creators, but anyone who wants to monetize their personal life in any way.

Being that Tana loves to live out loud, she signed up for OnlyFans to give her supporters inside access to her life, for a price.

The Cancelled podcast host’s decision to join OnlyFans has proven to be lucrative for her. In 2020, Tana took to Instagram to upload a picture of a glass trophy that read: “Congratulations top earner,” with a whopping ‘$3,000,000” underneath it. The social media star revealed to The Cut what incentivized her to start an OnlyFans account.

“If I’m drunk and throwing a party and wearing a see-through shirt, I might as well monetize that,” Tana revealed to the news publication.”So many men on the internet sexualized me for so long against my own will, and I got to a point where I finally was like, ‘Damn, I might as well make a million dollars off of it’.”

Tana is a hard worker, and isn’t ignorant of the fact that as a woman she’s often “underestimated” because of her gender.

“People are going to underestimate you as a woman in pretty much everything, and you’re gonna have to claw your way up a little harder than most men are,” Tana said during her interview with Forbes last year. “But I wanted it and I did it, and I don’t give a [redacted] if it’s hard.”

Tana explained to Forbes that her originality is what propelled her into stardom, and garnered her the wealth and fame that she’s obtained over the course if her career.

“Had I been cookie cutter, I would’ve never amassed any success,” Tana revealed. “And had I switched up to a perfectly brand safe business woman … I don’t think I would’ve made it to the point that I’m at.”
