Fati Vázquez responds to backlash and threats
As the rumours gained traction, Vázquez issued a statement addressing the wave of hate and even death threats she says she received online. “It’s sad to see how some people carry so much darkness inside that they get to wish death on someone they don’t even know,” she wrote. “To those who wish me evil, I wish them healing.” Though she didn’t confirm or deny the nature of her connection with Yamal, her post hinted at the toll the public scrutiny has taken.

Yamal shuts down relationship claims, eyes return to training
Yamal has since denied any romantic involvement with Vázquez. According to Sport, TV reporter Javi de Hoyos reached out to the teenager, who “categorically denies” the rumours and insisted “they have nothing going on.”
De Hoyos even suggested Vázquez might be linked to someone else at the club, not Yamal. For now, the young star is focusing on recharging before reporting back to Barcelona for pre-season in Asia, as he prepares to celebrate his 18th birthday and continue building on his breakout year.
