Harry Potter actor Jessie Cave has revealed that she is setting up an OnlyFans so that she can “get out of debt.” While the platform is most commonly used for explicit sexual content, Cave will be using it to make “sensual” videos for people with hair fetishes.
Cave is perhaps best known for her role as Lavender Brown in three Harry Potter movies, first appearing in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
She has since starred in various movies and television shows, like Great Expectations, Glue, Black Mirror, and Call the Midwife, although she has explored many other avenues, like writing a novel, publishing a book of cartoons, stand-up comedy, and playwriting.
Despite Cave’s varied career endeavours, she has recently taken to Instagram to share her plans for an OnlyFans, telling followers that she’ll be offering paying subscribers “the best quality hair sounds.”
On Substack, Cave explained in further detail: “One year. I’ll try for one year. My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love.”
Actors and musicians are increasingly using OnlyFans to find an additional source of income. Singer Kate Nash, best known for her hit single ‘Foundations,’ set up an account last year. The artist posted on social media that she’d be using the website to help fund her UK and Europe tour dates.
“Buy either a piece of my merch or my arse on my new ONLYFANS account katenyash87 to support me paying great wages & putting on a high quality show as I will not sacrifice either of things,” she wrote.
