Welcome to Millionaires, where we profile creators who have recently crossed the one million follower mark on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch. There are creators crossing this threshold every week, and each of them has a story to tell about their success. Read previous installments here.
After a decade of making content on Vine, then YouTube, then TikTok, Hannah Stocking is embracing a new platform: OnlyFans.
Welcome to a special edition of our Millionaires column, where we’re chatting with Stocking both because she recently hit 10 million subscribers on YouTube, and because she just launched her OnlyFans account, with plans to take more control of her content and monetization, and get rockin’ on OFTV.

Stocking is 32 and started posting on Vine in 2013, then swapped over to posting comedic content on YouTube after Vine’s demise (RIP). She’s built a following of nearly 50 million across platforms, including almost 30 million on TikTok alone, and that renown has helped her secure numerous roles in film and TV, like a two-episode role in the 2021 iCarly revival and a starring role alongside 50 Cent in the upcoming horror film Skill House.
So, why start an OnlyFans?
For Stocking, it started with her longtime friend and fellow creator Whitney Cummings. “She asked me to host her roast on OFTV, so The Roast of Whitney Cummings, and I was so honored,” Stocking tells Tubefilter. “That also gave me the opportunity to meet with the OF and OFTV teams. It was such an amazing and collaborative process. From there, we came up with the idea to create and potentially collab on an OFTV show and launch my channel, which was so exciting.”
OnlyFans appeals to Stocking because she’s spent 10 years stringently abiding by platforms’ guidelines, she says, but still sometimes gets her videos taken down. And that removal in turn takes a chunk out of her income. She sees OnlyFans as a way to make what she wants without worrying so much about the platform playing Big Brother.
“OnlyFans has become such a huge hub for a ton of amazing and talented creators, artists, comedians, athletes,” she says. “In the past, sometimes my videos have been taken down for a swear word, or I’m doing a stunt that gets flagged for being unsafe for the platform. OnlyFans is just more unfiltered with comedic content.”
She also is “just a big fan of OFTV,” she says. OFTV, which OnlyFans launched in August 2021, is a platform-within-a-platform that offers safe-for-work content across the usual niches–think things like comedy and cooking.
Soon, Stocking’s own show will join OFTV’s stable of comedy content. She can’t give us too many details, but her account is live now, and she says she’s looking forward to “ramping it up” in the months and years to come.

Tubefilter: Very nice to meet you! We’re chatting with you because, after so many years on Vine, YouTube, and TikTok, you’re getting ready to launch an OnlyFans. It’s been interesting seeing the business opportunities for OF creators grow. I’d love to dive in and talk about why you chose to go with that platform over a Patreon or somewhere different where you could paywall.
Hannah Stocking: Well, basically it all started with a really close friend of mine, Whitney Cummings, amazing standup comedian, great friend. I really look up to her as a person too. She asked me to host her roast on OFTV, so The Roast of Whitney Cummings, and I was so honored to host the show. That also gave me the opportunity to meet with the OF and OFTV teams. It was such an amazing and collaborative process. From there, we came up with the idea to create and potentially collab on an OFTV show and launch my channel, which was so exciting.
I think I like OnlyFans more than other direct to fans platforms because I feel like, with Whitney on the platform and everything else, OnlyFans has become such a huge hub for a ton of amazing and talented creators, artists, comedians, athletes. I’m also just a big fan of OFTV. I think there’s so many incredible shows on there. Also, on all of my other social platforms, I’ve always followed all of their guidelines. I’m aware that I have a very young following. In the past, sometimes my videos have been taken down for a swear word, or I’m doing a stunt that gets flagged for being unsafe for the platform.
OnlyFans is just more unfiltered with comedic content. It goes to show in Whitney’s roasts and stuff like that. It’s nice to be able to create content that’s totally unfiltered without having to worry about my account getting flagged. I can basically cuss for comedic bits without getting flagged.
Tubefilter: You feel more secure in your creative control there?
Hannah Stocking: Yes, totally. It is an 18 and up platform, so it’s not like I’m cussing and I know someone young or someone that’s not supposed to see that is going to see that and use that same word at school or learn the F word through my videos. Yes, so that’s something that I like.
Tubefilter: OFTV is an interesting turn in their business, and I feel like it’s really underrated still.
Hannah Stocking: Yes. Yes. I’ve always been such a massive fan of reality TV. I’ve never participated in it. Again, I love hosting, so the fact that I was able to host and see how a reality TV show is me behind the scenes and how much producers are involved and where it could really take you was really, really, really fun.
Tubefilter: What’s the plan for the launch?
Hannah Stocking: I have some really fun and collaborative content that I shot. I’ve been working tirelessly on content for this and the strategy, and I think I came up with a couple really funny videos to promote it, but also a lot of incredible and fun content that’s also super wild. We’re really going to ramp it up on OF, so I’m really excited about it. I was also up till like midnight last night filming for it. I’ve been working really hard and I hope all the fans love it.
I shot a video, and I wanted to express and talk about exactly how I’m going to use the platform, how it’s still going to be true to me and who I am, aligned with my morals, so basically it’s going to be like a postgame press conference, like I just signed with OF and the reporters are there asking me a bunch of questions. I have a really fun cameo with the close friend of mine who I’ve mentioned, Whitney Cummings, and she’s in there and she’s acting like my coach.
There is a stunt at the end that I won’t get flagged for, but there is a fun stunt that Whitney performs, and it’s going to be crazy. I’m so excited about it.
Tubefilter: What’s the plan moving forward? I know you’re going to do a comedy show.
Hannah Stocking: Yes, so I have a lot of content that I’ve filmed. I do a lot of sporty bits already, and I’m going to move that over to OF. That’ll be really fun. The OFTV show coming out, but also I’m just really passionate about my content, and I invest a lot into making sure that it is really high-quality, it’s unique and entertaining, so to be transparent, sometimes I end up spending a lot more on production than I actually make in return sometimes.
To be able to create some of the crazy ideas that I have that I know people will love and that I know work well on my other platforms, I will be able to make back some of the investments so I can continue to make even more content for my fans.
Tubefilter: Yes. Certainly too, something about you having more control on OnlyFans is your monetization.
Hannah Stocking: Totally. Yes. Yes. I’m a huge fan in that aspect.
Tubefilter: In terms of production, now you’re essentially producing double the content. How are you planning to handle that? In terms of producing your regular content and then also for OnlyFans now, do you have a set filming schedule, or what’s your plan?
Hannah Stocking: Yes. I hired on, not a new team, but an additional team. I have my crew that I work with for what I currently do, all of my skits on all the other platforms, but yes, I hired an entirely new team for this content. I think, in the past, I wasn’t really using my Google calendar. I would be like, “Oh yes, I think I have this. Okay, we’ll see what happens.” I wouldn’t really know what I’m doing five minutes from now. I think with adding this on, my schedule is definitely slammed all the time, so I’m using my Google calendar, my assistant’s super on it now. It’s really helpful to have another team on board helping me with everything.
Tubefilter: What’s the thing you’re most looking forward to about debuting?
Hannah Stocking: Yes, I thought a lot about this one, and what I came up with was a little bit more concise. I think this is just a project that’s definitely taking me out of my comfort zone, which is something that I’ve always loved. I’ve always loved taking a new step forward and stuff like that. That’s what I’m excited for, is just something new.
