She says the same parents who watched her content are now trying to shame her
A nursery school teacher in Italy who turned to OnlyFans says she was shamed, fired, and publicly humiliated after a pupil’s dad allegedly leaked her X-rated pics to his football group chat, and now, she plans to sue him.
Elena Maraga, 29, claims the same man who outed her to school authorities had first subscribed to her adult content before screenshots were circulated and ultimately reported by his wife.
“I’m tired of the injustices I’ve suffered,” Elena said, as reported by The Sun. “There are parents who accused me, but they are the same ones who paid to see me. It’s embarrassing.”
Back in April, Elena was suspended without pay from the Catholic nursery where she’d worked for five years. Her OnlyFans account, launched just a month earlier, had racked up enough subscribers to earn her a full month’s teaching salary in a single day.
But church leaders weren’t impressed and after she refused to delete the account, they terminated her contract for “just cause.”
‘They made me look like a harlot’
Speaking publicly for the first time since filing the lawsuit, Elena said the scandal exposed a double standard that punishes women far more harshly for online sex work than men.
“They made me look like a harlot,” she said. “Who’s really the immoral one?”
Elena is now suing the father of the student for allegedly leaking her private content and exposing her identity, as well as taking legal action against three social media users over what she says were defamatory comments about her case.
But the fallout hasn’t stopped there.
So, why did she join OnlyFans?
Elena, who has a degree in Educational Sciences, says her decision to join OnlyFans was part curiosity, part financial necessity.
She said she opened the account for fun, but also because she wanted to see if could earn money. “In one day I get a month’s salary,” she said.
She says she still misses her students but not the way the school handled the controversy. “The school has never wanted to talk to me, they have always acted with letters and have never wanted dialogue,” she said.
She said she won’t go back to teaching
School administrators argue that her adult content “contrasts with the Catholic inspiration that guides the educational direction of the school.” The Italian education ministry is reportedly reviewing a new code of ethics to prevent future scandals like Elena’s.
Elena, who once saw teaching as her life’s calling, says the whole ordeal has shifted her sense of purpose. “I want to give voice to women who’ve been condemned for doing things men do without consequence,” she said. “I’m tired of the hypocrisy.”
As for whether she’d return to the classroom? Her answer is simple, “Despite everything, I miss the children – but not the problems related to that job that I loved.”
“But today I would not go back.”
