Despite inquiries, Paddle UK—the UK’s governing body for paddle sports such as canoeing and kayaking—has chosen not to specify the exact allegations tied to Rozentals’ disputed social media posts.

Nonetheless, the athlete himself harbors suspicions that the scrutiny is connected to his activity on OnlyFans, a platform notorious for hosting adult content, where he has amassed over 10,000 ‘likes,’ shared more than 100 photos and 39 videos, and has raked in excess of $134,963 since January when he opened his account, reports the Irish Star.

Athlete Rozentals revealed to BBC Sport, “I have been posting videos (on Instagram) that are consciously made to be edgy in order to drive conversions to my ‘spicy content page’ (on OnlyFans), to fund this ultimate dream of going to the Olympics,”.

He recounted the shocking moment he was informed about his suspension by a Paddle UK representative: “I kind of froze and I couldn’t believe the words I was hearing because this is what I put my life into this is everything I do.”

Rozentals turned to OnlyFans as a means to finance his rigorous training regimen after finding the £16,000 ($21,600) annual grant from Paddle UK insufficient.

He detailed the financial burdens athletes face, saying, “When you have to cover rent, travel, food… and most athletes who train full-time are all living in London,” and shared his own challenges: “They’re very fortunate to have parent backing – I wasn’t.”

Living away from London due to monetary constraints, Rozentals described his arduous routine: “I never had the ability to move to London because of financial struggles so I was always doing the travel from the East Midlands, where I live, to London, back-and-forth, back-and-forth.”

Faced with a tough choice regarding his OnlyFans activity, Rozentals admitted it’s the most difficult decision of his life but feels he shouldn’t have to pick between financial stability and pursuing his Olympic aspirations.
