Olympic star Alysha Newman has stated that her OnlyFans page is 10 times busier after she twerked during the games.

The Canadian, 30, won bronze in the pole vault after clearing a height of 4.85 meters, while Australia’s Nina Kennedy took gold and Katie Moon of the United States sealed silver. But it had not been her jump that saw her go viral, but her celebration immediately afterward.

Newman completed her jump as she then ran off in celebration mode while acting as if she’d pulled her hamstring before twerking in front of the cameras.

The 30-year-old gained significant media attention before fans had realized that Newman also has an OnlyFans account – posting explicit content to her followers – with her page becoming increasingly popular over the last week.

Newman told TMZ: “It’s been wild. I think the most rewarding think is to give people who have been with me since 2021, they get to see my medal up and close.

“I thanked a lot of people online and was messaging every single person I possibly could. I’ve had 10 times more than what I’ve had before. I can’t say a real number and the only reason I’m not saying it is as we speak numbers are being added.”

Newman is believed to post a broad range of content to her page, and has seen around 20,000 subscribers to her page where she charges $7.79 per subscription – around $155,800 per month in new followers.

Despite her new influx of followers that could see her make life-changing money, Newman has admitted that she intends to stick around in the sport and hopes to compete in Los Angeles when the Olympics returns in 2028.

She said: “I was just saying… I felt like I was in my prime when I was 27 years old. But then all of a sudden, I get this medal, and I just got this sense, like, sense of energy and aura around me that I never had before. This confidence and this security in myself that now I feel like I can just let loose. I got a medal, I’m an Olympic medalist.”
