Dakota Johnson’s Materialists co-star just said she could make bank with an OnlyFans. Don’t worry, it wasn’t a leering comment, it was a genuine conversation, and it even intrigued Johnson!

In a recent interview with Elle UK, Johnson revealed she had an OnlyFans-based conversation with her co-star Pedro Pascal.

For those that don’t know, OnlyFans is a subscription-based platform that was founded back in 2016, and grew insanely popular during the COVID-19 pandemic as sex workers looked for new ways to make money from home. The sex worker community has embraced the platform as a means of finding autonomy in an industry that can be exploitative and dangerous; and celebrities like Denise Richards, Lily Allen, and Carmen Electra have even joined in on it.

“Pedro Pascal told me that I should have an OnlyFans. That I could just like wiggle my toe and I’d make money,” Johnson said in the interview. “Should I do that?”

She added, “I would look at OnlyFans models on Instagram if I knew how to do that. Sounds intriguing.”

But don’t expect one anytime soon, friends and fans, she’s fully booked up as the lead in three upcoming movies called Materalists, Verity, and Splitsville.

Now, before this, she’s never mentioned OnlyFans, but has talked about the importance of sexual wellness. For instance, she’s the co-creative director and investor in the sexual wellness brand Maude. The brand was originally founded in 2018 by Éva Goicochea, specifically creating inclusive, gender-neutral products. Johnson signed on in late 2020.

She talked about the new role to Vogue, saying, “Not only is Maude a WOC-founded company, it is boldly and intelligently forward thinking in an industry where the conversation and narrative around intimacy products is antiquated. I believe that sexual wellness is a fundamental human right. Consensual sex and intimate pleasure is self-care for all bodies. Every human should have access to quality sexual products regardless of their gender, adult age, or sexuality.”
