BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Investigators said a meet-up for an online modeling gig turned into attempted murder, and now federal agents have joined the search for the identified suspect.
Tavaughn Lee, 32, of West Palm Beach, Florida is facing several charges including second degree attempted murder, first degree assault, second degree assault and two theft violations.
According to the statement of charges, on February 13, 2025, Lee is accused of running over a woman with an SUV in southeast Baltimore after a collaboration for the adult-content website OnlyFans came to a crashing end.
Investigators said just before 8:00 p.m. that evening the woman called 911 from near a local truck stop off I-95 and reported a man had just run over her with an SUV.

Officers and medics responded to the location at 5501 O’Donnell St., and there found the woman with injuries to her left side, according to the statement of charges.
The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where a detective later responded and interviewed the woman.
According to the statement of charges, the woman told investigators she met one of her OnlyFans customers at the Executive Inn after they discussed creating content together.
The victim said she had just met the man, later identified as Tavaughn Lee, and he had hired her for some online modeling work.
The woman reported to the detective that she got into Lee’s SUV but became nervous when he began “driving to unknown locations” and asked to be let out of the vehicle.

According to the statement of charges, Lee stopped the vehicle in the parking lot at 5501 O’Donnell St. and that’s where the two began arguing as she was collecting her belongings from inside the vehicle.
Investigators said the woman told the detective while she was halfway outside of the SUV when Lee suddenly put the vehicle in reverse and backed into a tree.
She said the impact flung her to the ground, and that Lee then drove over her as he left the scene with her belongings, including her cat.
According to the statement of charges, the woman gave the detective the man’s phone number, as well as a credit card she had removed from the cupholder of the vehicle.
Investigators said the phone number came back to the name Tavaughn Lee, the same name that appeared on the credit card.
According to the statement of charges, the detective created a photo array, and the victim was able to identify Lee as the subject in this case.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Investigators said Lee’s ties stretch from Maryland to Florida.
