OnlyFans creator Shianne Foxx has issued what may be one of the funniest apologies in recent social media history, after bringing “international shame” to the residents of the affluent Sydney suburb of Mosman through her “sugar daddy” search.

“I’d like to formally apologise to the residents of Mosman,” Foxx said. “It was not my intention for my search to find a sugar daddy to bring shame on your suburb on such an international scale.”

Foxx then announced she would be widening her search to surrounding suburbs, including Neutral Bay, North Sydney, Northbridge, and potentially Willoughby –  though she questioned whether the area’s average income met her requirements.

“I am open to the possibility of Kirribilli, although the houses seem quite small,” she added.

Billboard hoax claims persist

Foxx’s statement made no mention of whether the billboard – which allegedly promoted her search for a wealthy partner in Mosman – was real or a publicity stunt. She did, however, state that she would be making “no further statements to the media.”

Mobile Marketing Australia, the company linked to the billboard’s advertising space, has doubled down on claims that the entire saga is a hoax.

“I’ve had far too many calls today. To be honest, it’s starting to grind my gears,” an executive from the company said, reiterating that the billboard never existed.

The controversy first erupted when images of a billboard allegedly featuring Foxx’s sugar daddy appeal surfaced online, sparking a mix of outrage and amusement.

Global and national news outlets—including The Daily Telegraph, Yahoo, The Daily Mail, and the New York Post—jumped on the story, as did Australia’s biggest radio show, The Kyle & Jackie O Show, where Foxx revealed she had received over 2,000 calls.

Mobile Marketing Australia insisted the campaign was a carefully orchestrated PR stunt, claiming Foxx had superimposed an image of herself over a legitimate, paying client’s advertisement.

Speculation has also mounted that the bizarre Mosman sugar daddy saga was a coordinated PR stunt by OnlyFans.

The story, it seems, continues.
