Turkish adult film star Merve Taskin got into trouble after posting an ad on X, where she offered to be one of her followers’ “girlfriend” for a dinner date.
Shortly afterwards, the 27-year-old Turkish model was arrested on Valentine’s Day and charged with offering “obscene services”, The Sun reported
The influencer also warned her adoring followers to “be careful not to fall in love” with her
The judges of the Caglayan Court, a small town in Turkey, ordered that Taskin be placed under house arrest on February 15 while her phone and social media are investigated

The original post on X to its 124,000 followers offered lonely customers a Valentine’s Day dinner.
“I can be the ‘dinner’ girlfriend for those who are single on February 14,” Taskin wrote on her account, with the price included of 400,000 Turkish lira, or $11,000, and then listed the “attributes” of having a date with her to attract her customers.

She also listed the benefits for anyone in love who went out with her:

After her post went viral, the model was reported to the police
Taskin reposted on social media once she was released, saying that she was detained and had to share a cell with local prostitutes
“I spent a night in a cold, stuffy and unhygienic detention cell. One of the girls cried at first because she was locked in the detention cell, then she started laughing when she found out I was Turkish and that I was there for social media,” Taskin said, adding:
“Someone tell me that I’ve been played a joke and that none of this is real.”
In 2021, Taskin was sentenced to five months in prison for posting erotic photos online during her vacation in Amsterdam, including one of her riding a giant penis at the city’s Sex Museum.
