OnlyFans model Scarlet Vas and husband Tayo Ricci — who is also her stepbrother — got to celebrate Christmas with a new addition to their family.
The Australian influencer, 29, announced via Instagram on Wednesday, December 25, that she and Tayo, 27, had welcomed their first child together. “Our Christmas miracle has finally arrived,” Scarlet captioned a set of hospital photos. “Merry Christmas from our family to yours.”
In one snap, Scarlet rested in bed with their baby wrapped up in her arms while Tayo posed alongside her, both smiling at the camera. She covered their child’s face with a white heart emoji. The second photo showed both parents’ hands wrapped around the infant’s little fingers.
Scarlet did not reveal their daughter’s name in the post.
Tayo announced his wife’s pregnancy in an Instagram video on September 8, sharing footage of the moment he and Scarlet looked at the positive pregnancy test, as well as clips of her ultrasound appointments and more.
“Baby Ricci. Our Christmas Miracle,” the Australian musician wrote in the caption.
Tayo later announced in October that they were having a baby girl by sharing a video of himself and Scarlet on a beach, with the “Party Girls” singer kissing his pregnant wife’s stomach as she posed in a pink bikini. “We are having a girl. Can’t wait to meet you,” he wrote.
Scarlet, who played Mishti Sharma on the Australian soap opera Neighbours from 2017 to 2018, documented her pregnancy on her Instagram, sharing footage from her pink-themed baby shower and more.
Scarlet and Tayo’s little girl arrived a little more than one year after the couple tied the knot in Mykonos, Greece, on September 3, 2023. “You may now kiss the bride,” the OnlyFans star captioned a set of photos from their nuptials in January.
Scarlet explained to News.com.au in November that she and Tayo met as teens and later became “family” when their parents got married.
“We’ve been together for 10 years and have just moved back to Australia after living in the U.S. for the last five of those,” she told the outlet. “We were about 13 years old when we first met through mutual friends. Our families knew each other and they introduced us, I guess you could say. So we’ve known each other for a very long time.”
Scarlet and Tayo first went viral in 2021 with a video titled, “I fell in love with my bf’s best friend… who happens to be my step bro.” The video showed Scarlet being dared to kiss Tayo while Scarlet’s former boyfriend, who was allegedly Tayo’s best friend, watched. Scarlet later claimed that the video was only a skit, although she confirmed that she and Tayo were in a romantic relationship.
Though Scarlet and Tayo have received criticism for their unconventional relationship, the model explained that it doesn’t bother them.
“Honestly, it doesn’t affect us because we have each other,” she shared. “I don’t really read our comments section, but if I do, I actually laugh. We find trolls very entertaining. If something’s really negative, we might comment back. We find it is quite a good disarming tactic.”
