Well, would you look at that? Australia has officially cancelled the visa of British sex worker Bonnie Blue following an outpouring of controversy. The OnlyFans star found herself in the headlines for offering to have sex with young 18-year-old men in exchange for filming sexually explicit videos for her OnlyFans during Schoolies. However, her visa wasn’t revoked for the reason you’d think.
According to News.com.au, the 25-year-old’s visa was revoked due to her plans to work in Australia, which goes against her 12-month visitor visa, rather than her plan to bed a series of willing young men.
Bonnie says that she intends on appealing the cancelation.
“I am currently in the United Kingdom. It is definitely something I would appeal,” she said.
“I would do Schoolies in another location. Like Fiji. It’s beautiful. But in terms of the petition, it really is pathetic.
“OnlyFans is a billion-dollar business. All these middle-aged Karens are saying these people are not consenting. They are. It’s rubbish. They’ve got passports and they’ve got consent forms.
“Regardless of the outcome, I am leaving Australia anyway. I’ve got a team and people in Australia.”
Home Affairs and Immigration Minister Tony Burke said the issue was simple: Bonnie broke the rules.
“The Australian visa system has rules. If you don’t intend to obey those rules, don’t apply,” he told The Daily Mail.
The cancellation comes after a petition to revoke Bonnie’s visa and gained more than 21,000 signatures.
While Bonnie’s visa has been revoked, it doesn’t stop other Australian creators, like Annie Knight, from participating in similar activities.
