Olympic pole vaulter Alysha Newman celebrated winning a bronze medal with a move which left viewers a little surprised.
While one pole vaulter missed out on chances of taking home a medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics as a result of his nether regions getting in the way, he ended up getting a massive offer from a porn site instead.
You win some you lose some right?
However, another pole vaulter has already taken the leap into the world of adult content and after winning bronze for her country, Canada‘s Alysha Newman celebrated in a manner some viewers weren’t expecting.
Newman was up against Australia’s Nina Kennedy and the US‘ Katie Moon in the finals of the women’s pole vault at the Stade de France in Paris.
Kennedy came in at the top spot, winning gold with her jump height of 4.90, Moon came in with silver at a height of 4.85 and Newman came in with bronze after soaring over a pole at 4.85 meters.
According to Team Canada’s Twitter account, Newman is the first Olympic pole vault medallist for the country in 112 years – an achievement certainly worth celebrating.
And Newman wasted no time in running towards the audience in delight, popping down into a squatting position and ‘twerking’.
As you can probably guess, it didn’t take long for clips of the Olympic medallist – who also has an OnlyFans account – to go viral on social media.

One Twitter user said: “She knows what she’s doing,” while a second added: “That replay in slo-mo took me out she’s so funny for this.”
A third commented: “That was her moment and she seized it.”
“Congrats, my fellow Canadian!” a fourth wrote.
A fifth said: “The vibes at the olympics have been really elite this year.”
Although, one user noted: “Why does she have to ruin the moment.”
However, another user responded: “These comments are miserable, let someone who’s worked hard for four years have fun. Y’all sitting on the couch getting closer to type two diabetes every day.”
Newman also reflected on her win, telling CBC she was ‘so excited’ and ‘laug[ed]’ when she got third place.
“I laugh because getting third is, I mean I’ve never got third, but it’s funny because you have to still wait and sit there and wait until the other girls are done,” she continued.
“So I’m so awkwardly standing there like, ‘What do I do? Do I celebrate? Do I kiss everyone? Do I cry?'”
Newman resolved: “It was a really surreal moment and it was awesome.
“I just feel like I’m very emotionally stable right now and just feel so honoured to be the first [women’s] pole vaulter to bring home an Olympic medal for Canada.”
