Even though it’s possible to become a multimillionaire on OnlyFans, it doesn’t mean the process is always pretty.

DailyMail.com spoke with adult star Hayley Davies, 26, about the harsh realities behind being such a popular content creator.

Hayley, who is originally from Australia, has lived in Los Angeles for almost two years and makes an eye-watering 10 times her old salary.

She told FEMAIL that before she became a top creator on OnlyFans, she had dreamed of being something very different.

‘I wanted to be an accountant because I was a math whiz,’ Hayley said.

‘I used to compete in math competitions. I used to love it. Whenever we went on a road trip as a kid, I would be like, “Mom, Dad, can we do math?” I loved math.’

She said even at a young age she was ‘very career-focused and got really good grades in school.’

The star broke down the numerous jobs she had before she became an online sensation.

Hayley, who is originally from Australia, has lived in Los Angeles for almost two years and makes an eye-watering 10 times her old salary

‘At 12, I was doing a paper run. So I was delivering junk mail,’ she said about one of her first jobs.

‘Before that, I would sometimes babysit for family friends. When I was 14, I started working in cafes. Then the crazy thing is, by 15, I was managing a restaurant and bar. It’s so crazy.’

She was working all the time and making money hand over fist.

‘I didn’t have the best childhood. At 14 years old, I moved out of home, and I was still going to school,’ Hayley explained.

‘By 16, I was doing home school and I was still working at restaurants and bars.

‘I was making really, really good money. When I was 14, 15, and 16, I was making over $1,000 a week.’

She added: ‘At 17, I started studying software development and I was still working at bars and restaurants.

‘Once I was 18, I started working in IT. And then at 19, I started to be a stripper as well.’

She told FEMAIL that before she became a top creator on OnlyFans, she had dreamed of being something very different

Hayley said that once she started stripping, she would sometimes earn what she made working a month in IT, in just one night.

However, she was determined to ‘not just be a stripper’ and continue to work in IT.

‘I was working full time in IT, and then I was working as a stripper four nights a week,’ she detailed to FEMAIL.

‘Then in 2020 or 2021, I started studying at the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I started studying to be a personal trainer. So then I added that.

‘I would do full-time IT, full-time personal training on my lunch breaks, before work, after work, and then at night I would go to the strip club.

‘So from 21 years old, I was working over 100 hours a week, and any spare time I got, I would just pick up something else to study.’

The sex worker said she ‘didn’t really have a social life or many friends,’ so she started studying criminology and forensic science for her own enjoyment.

At 22, she spoke to her mom about her purpose and decided to quit all her other jobs and dedicate her time to stripping so she could make money and travel.

She later realized a friend in a similar position had started an OnlyFans which she swore she would never do because, at one point, Hayley had applied to be a cop.

After her second police application was denied, she decided, ‘If my friend can do OnlyFans, then why not? I can do it.’

‘So I started OnlyFans just over two years ago, and I was gonna put my all into it,’ she explained.

‘I started figuring out everything – I would do spreadsheets. I would track sales. I would do everything legit, like a business. And I became really successful.

‘I wasn’t huge at the start, so I was still stripping sometimes, and then I started to grow more and more, and then I was consistent and started to get a lot bigger.’

Hayley said: ‘I kind of just let go of the idea of a “normal career” and realized that if I can make a lot of money doing this, and I’m somewhat comfortable with it, then why not?’

However, after living a life of balancing multiple jobs and working endless hours, the tech nerd turned OnlyFans star realized she still didn’t know how to stop despite her success.

‘I think I naturally love to work, and when I’m not working, I struggle with feeling like I’m wasting time,’ Hayley revealed to DailyMail.com.

She later realized a friend in a similar position as her had started OnlyFans which she swore she would never do, but decided to make the jump

‘When I was working, IT, personal training, stripping – if I hung out with a friend and I spent one hour, two hours, three hours, my brain would just be like, “Oh my god. Imagine what you could have achieved if you worked or if you went and studied. You would have worked on yourself rather than just going and hanging out with a friend.”‘

Hayley said it took her years to get out of this ’embedded mindset.’

‘In the last year, I’ve spent a lot of time and energy working with therapists, and I have a breath work coach who honestly has changed my life,’ she shared.

‘We focused on not working all day and not feeling guilty and taking time off actually makes you work better and focus better.

‘I was at a point where I was so drained and so tired that everything I was doing was taking longer than if I just actually slept and ate properly and didn’t work every waking hour and focused on doing things for myself.

‘She [her breath work coach] helped me set goals like, “Okay, one day this week, you’re going to spend two hours painting.” Because I love art. Things like that.

‘When I was in the breath work, I would not be able to stop thinking about work. And now it’s crazy looking back at the changes that I’ve made in the past year.

‘I can actually take an hour and I can relax and not think about work and focus on myself, and I have more of a life now. I don’t just work all the time. I sleep a lot more.’

However, after living a life of balancing multiple jobs and working endless hours, the tech nerd turned OnlyFans star realized she still didn't know how to stop despite her success

Hayley explained: ‘I feel like when you work for yourself there are two issues. You either have no one to keep you accountable, and you become lazy, or you have no one to tell you to stop, and you just work all the time because the opportunities are endless, because the more work you do, the more success you have.

‘But I feel like I took the more work, more money, or more work, more success – I think I took it too far to the point of not sleeping much, not eating enough and not looking after myself, to the point where now I’m actually not working to my full capabilities.’

The OnlyFans star has worked diligently to pull herself out of her dark slump and now says she leads a very ‘wholesome life.’

‘I’m in a really good position where I just work when I need to work, and then I go about my day… I do breath work, and I go to the gym, and I cook, and I stretch, and I clean, and I do my skincare,’ she told FEMAIL.

‘I do all these nice things for myself, which I had stopped doing, which I had always done my entire life.’
