OnlyFans model Sophie Rain recently revealed that she made over $50 million in profit with her content on the adult entertainment platform.
The creator, 20, took to X to share the news, posting a screenshot of her earning statistics statement. “Halfway to $100m,” she posted on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
In December, Rain spoke to PEOPLE about her work as an OnlyFans model and how it has brought in a substantial income. In addition to her content living behind a subscription-based paywall, she gets tips from various viewers.
She noted that her highest-paying benefactor is a man named Charles; between November 2023 and November 2024, Charles sent Rain nearly $5 million.
While she doesn’t actually know the man personally, she noted that their relationship isn’t completely strange to her. According to Rain, they talk often, though she doesn’t know his age and avoids thinking too much about it.
“I try not to ask just for my own sake. I know he is just a little older,” Rain told PEOPLE at the time. “I don’t want to know exactly how old my fans are, just because I know a lot of them range from older. It’s like talking to my grandfather sometimes when I find out how old they are.”
The Florida-based influencer also told PEOPLE about how her yearly income — then clocking in at $43 million — has changed her life. She said she’s been able to buy herself her “dream car,” a 2024 Porsche GT3 RS, and rents a “beautiful” waterfront property in Miami.

At the time, she also shared her hopes to buy her parents their own property too, which would be “their first house that they’re going to own,” said Rain.
Still, the money strikes a stark contrast to the way she was raised. “I still find myself trying to save every dollar I can, because that’s just the way I grew up,” Rain explained.
Ultimately, she told PEOPLE she’s glad to be able to provide for her family, who were initially hesitant to support her career but now back her choices in full.
“I watched them growing up, very poor, struggling to pay bills, living paycheck to paycheck. So that is what motivates me as well, my parents struggling,” the online star said. “I wanted to change that.”

And though she’s been at the receiving end of online haters and harsh comments, Rain said she’s hardly ashamed by the way she makes her living: posting revealing — and sometimes explicit — content on her OnlyFans page. Instead, she said, the negativity energizes her to keep sharing.
“Honestly, all the people online that hate me — and they post the mean comments and everything — that’s what motivates me to just keep growing and to keep booming and keep doing my own thing,” she told PEOPLE last year. “It just makes them mad for no reason. They don’t know me.”
