Sophie Rain, an internet personality who shot to fame with her OnlyFans content, has fired back at parents who slammed her as a “bad influence” on their children. The 20-year-old told DailyMail in an interview published Wednesday that she thinks the accusation is not “fair” and that it is not her duty to “parent other people’s children.”

Rain, who hails from Florida, made headlines last year after claiming she made a whopping $43 million on the adult content platform. “I don’t think it’s fair to blame us for what children and teenagers watch on TikTok and to call us a bad influence,” she told the outlet.

“We aren’t out here trying to be the perfect Gen-Z role models, we are just enjoying our lives and making money,” Rain went on, adding, “It’s not our responsibility to parent other people’s children. They should be monitoring what their children watch and limit their access if they think it’s an issue.”

The OnlyFans star boasts over 11.8 million followers on TikTok and 6.7 million on Instagram. Rain’s videos on both platforms regularly amass millions of views, showcasing her popularity among social media users. She further told the outlet, “I’m not here to babysit other people’s kids.”

Rain, who is a devout Christian, recently spoke about her beliefs. She explained that despite facing backlash for making adult content, she has never questioned her faith. “I’m very strong,” she told Fox News last week.

“I have a very close relationship with my church and I love God. I believe that he will forgive your sins for anything, and I think that he’s happy that I’m successful,” Rain continued before explaining that OnlyFans creators are often mistaken as “porn stars.”

“Essentially, there’s just this big misconception on OnlyFans that you are labeled as a porn star, but I’m still a virgin. I keep my content on OnlyFans very reserved, and you can still make money from doing all of these things,” Rain said.
