Terrifying footage has captured a tradie’s wild road rampage which allegedly spanned two hours and was carried out across two cities on Monday. The young tradie and adult content creator filmed himself in the driver’s seat of a Nissan Navara as he recklessly dodged traffic while allegedly avoiding police who followed behind him.

The 27-year-old was first spotted driving dangerously by police in Brisbane at around 10am before jumping southbound on the highway in the direction of the Gold Coast. Video footage taken from inside the vehicle appears to show him driving one-handed while holding his phone in the other as he documents his journey.

“I’m not getting boxed in and I’m not getting f***ing taken,” he says at one point as police sirens blare. “This movie just keeps getting crazier and crazier,” he later says in the footage obtained by 7News.

At one point during the drive, CCTV footage captured the driver pulling over in a residential street before jumping out of his vehicle. The Peregian Springs man was then allegedly seen taking an iron bar to the windscreen of one car and then another.

Shortly before 11am, almost one hour into the chaos, the man allegedly threw a spanner through the rear windshield of an ambulance, police said, covering two paramedics and an elderly patient, who were inside, with glass. He then reportedly damaged a nearby shop window.

The man eventually abandoned his Nissan Navara on the motorway, allegedly stealing a truck from a nearby construction site before continuing with the mayhem. Police later intercepted the truck and the driver allegedly fled on foot. He was arrested nearby shortly after, police confirmed.

The 27-year-old was charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle and four counts of wilful damage. He appeared at Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Investigations are continuing, Queensland Police said.
