When it comes to the art of oversharing, British OnlyFans star Lily Phillips wins the prize… and maybe one or two other things she didn’t exactly plan on. After her mass sex event in the fall of 2024, in which she had sex with 101 men in 14 hours, Phillips later revealed that she was fully unaware she’d exposed herself—and all of the other participants—to STDs by having unprotected oral sex.
In her defense, when she says she was not aware, she was REALLY not aware. She was encouraging men to ejaculate on her face when they orgasmed (if they did; in timed mass sex events, not everyone gets that sweet finish). She later went for her routine STD testing and found out she’d tested positive for a host of STDs, including an infection that affected her eyes. Her. Eyes. Ouch, and yikes. It turns out that sometimes what happens at an orgy not only doesn’t stay there, but also requires a round of antibiotics—or lifelong medical treatment—to combat.
Her recent decisions have clearly taken a toll on her, because not only are her fans worried about her, but even Phillips’ critics are starting to make fewer comments about the ick factor of what she does for a living. Comments along the lines of her seeming “nervous” and looking “damaged” have started to be bandied about the internet, alongside calls for her to please find a therapist to begin working with prior to her next mass sex event. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to make sure she has someone with professional credentials who can help her process all of this, so that maybe next time she doesn’t wind up weeping on camera while describing her feelings of dissociation and failure to deliver an ideal experience—granted, when men are signing up for a mass sex event featuring one woman, expecting to have their minds blown is asking a bit much. And that’s not on Lily.
Despite the concerns, criticism, and catty dialogue on the internet, Lily Phillips still seems to be all-in on her career choice and, by all appearances, is still planning to proceed with her “1,000 Dongs in a Day” stunt—even though her rival beat her to the world record. She is, however, taking precautionary measures this time around. Phillips has begun taking PrEP—a medical drug that prevents HIV—though she’s still embracing all of the dangers that go hand in hand with her chosen profession. Yea, though she walks through being banned by platforms like Airbnb, she fears no legal fees, if you catch my drift.
While many still take issue with the choices Lily Phillips makes, there’s at least one thing that seems worth celebrating: she’s learning. This time, she’s actively taking measures to make sure both she and her partners are protected all the way around. Is what she does empowering? Maybe. Is it reckless? Yes—but at least she’s starting to practice some harm reduction, and for that, we can all rejoice.
