She said Bonnie was once ‘grounded’, but she can ‘heal’ her
Former adult entertainer Katy Bampton, who worked with Bonnie Blue in a 2023 porn shoot, has said she’s worried about her friend who could be putting herself in harm’s way for views and OnlyFans subscribers.
Over the last few months, we’ve watched as Lily Phillips and Bonnie Blue attempt to outdo one another with record-breaking antics and shocking revelations about their latest OnlyFans stunts. Most recently, Bonnie broke the world record by sleeping with over 1,000 men in 12 hours.
But Bonnie’s motives are as controversial in the OnlyFans circles as they are with everyday people. Earlier, model Annie Knight shared her concerns and now another X-rated entertainer has done the same.
Katy Bampton said Bonnie Blue’s ‘wellbeing’ could pay the price
In 2023, Katy Bampton starred in a film alongside Bonnie Blue, Leilani May, and Girth Brooks, according to a new interview in The Sun. Katy and Bonnie became friends soon after, but the former has since left the porn industry behind for a life of relative anonymity in Koh Samui, Thailand.
Speaking to the publication this week, Katy explained that she knew Bonnie before she entered into the “fake” OnlyFans space that has since earned her $1 million a month.
“Bonnie always seemed to me to be really balanced, grounded, with-it, and I’m so worried about her now,” she revealed. “This mad competition that’s started between her and Lily Phillips, is sending out all the wrong messages. I simply can’t imagine that having sex with over 1,000 men back-to-back can have been enjoyable.”
Katy, who is now working as a holistic sexual health practitioner to help women “achieve real, meaningful relationships – and orgasms”, continued to explain that she is worried about the knock-on effect on Bonnie’s wellbeing.
She said: “The whole OnlyFans world is so fake. Women faking orgasms, everyone faking being happy, I just wanted out. I know this is something Bonnie’s wanted to do for a while. But having worked in the porn industry for years and come out the other side, I also know there will be real costs to Bonnie’s wellbeing.
“Having sex with over 1,000 strangers, it’ll create a massive disconnect between her mental wellbeing and her body, the trauma and negative energy from this will become embedded in her, particularly in the tissues around her pelvis.
“It’s likely that in a couple of years, she’ll realise the impact this has had on her feelings of self-worth, her confidence, her ability to maintain a meaningful relationship – and I want her to know I’ll be there for her when that happens. I can help her heal.”
She’s also worried about the effect on young people
Everyone from Katherine Ryan to Jimmy Carr has commented on Bonnie Blue’s stunt, with the prevailing narrative being how Bonnie’s content contributes to toxic behaviours towards women and young people. Katy would have to agree.
She told The Sun: “Apart from Bonnie’s wellbeing, I’m really worried about the message this will send to other young people out there about sex, especially young girls who are thinking about doing OnlyFans videos to make what can seem to be easy money. Sex with a stranger can lead to depression, anxiety, your body and nervous system become broken and frazzled.
“It can lead to a fear of intimacy, not knowing who you really are. Your body stores all those emotions until you have this moment of self-realisation that you’re deeply unhappy and can’t forge meaningful relationships. Believe me, I’ve been there!”
