Tony Buzbee Responds To Shannon Sharpe & His Attorney, Claims NFLer Is Trying To Humiliate His Client

On the other side of the legal battle, prominent attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents the plaintiff, confirmed that Sharpe did in fact offer his client $10 million, but she rejected the offer.

“On the one hand, Mr. Sharpe and his lawyers claim that Jane Doe’s case is meritless. On the other hand, they’ve now admitted that Mr. Sharpe offered her $10 million to stay quiet,” Buzbee wrote in an Instagram statement. “That is a true statement. Jane Doe was offered $10 million to settle but chose to pursue justice in court instead.

He also accused the NFL Hall of Famer of exhibiting “narcissism, manipulation, and coercive control” toward his client. Buzbee also criticized Sharpe for allegedly violating a confidentiality agreement by publicly outing his accuser. According to Buzbee, Sharpe is now actively doxxing his client.

“Instead of owning up to his actions, Sharpe has chosen to mislead his lawyers and the public and double down—this time by doxxing Jane Doe, and attempting to humiliate her into silence this woman who is 30 years his junior,” he wrote.” Mr. Sharpe’s aggressive approach will instead have the opposite effect. Ms. Doe is not afraid of the truth—she relies upon it.”

Buzbee also released audio, allegedly of Sharpe saying he would “choke the s***” out of Zuniga.

“The contents of this clip are certainly not sexual. They are not playful. They are instead disturbing, aggressive, and dangerous,” the attorney wrote on Instagram.
