Since she opened her OnlyFans account last year, “The Sopranos” star Drea de Matteo, 52, has been posting steamy content wearing lingerie or tight clothes. But what has brought commotion online is that she revealed her teen kids help her with editing and selecting the content she posts.

While appearing on the “Not Today, Pal” podcast hosted by fellow “Sopranos” actors Robert Iler and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, de Matteo said her son Waylon, 13, and daughter Alabama, 16, edit some of her pictures and sometimes approve them before publishing.

As she was giving the hosts a sneak peak of her upcoming content, including racy collaborations with other women, de Matteo apologized as she was going over her content because her kids were just outside the podcast recording room.

“Blackjack and Alabama, my kids are out there, I’m sorry guys. I’m really sorry,” she said.

But Iler interjected and told her that “before you start, your son was outside saying he edits your OnlyFans photos. So you don’t have to apologize to them, I don’t think.”

“Oh yeah, he’s like: ‘So what do you want me to do with the bikini line here?’” de Matteo replied.

However, de Matteo added that her kids don’t see her shots with other women.

“I do go over that with them before I ever put them out. I’m always like, ‘Are you OK with this?’” she said.

Actress Drea de Matteo holds her Emmy for best supporting actress in a drama series for her role in

De Matteo doesn’t post fully naked pictures on her OnlyFans. During the podcast, she showed a picture her son edited of her wearing a silver bustier with a matching skirt.

A subscription to “The Sopornos,” which is what de Matteo calls her OnlyFans account, costs $15 a month and currently counts with 241 posts.

De Matteo is not the only celebrity who has ventured into the steamy world of OnlyFans. Iggy Azalea, Carmen Electra, Cardi B and Bella Thorne are some of the famous people on the platform.

On average, OnlyFans creators make from $150 to $180 a month, according to a report by Influencer Marketing Hub. But some top creators make hundreds of thousands a year, if not millions, Business Insider reported.

Why did Drea de Matteo join OnlyFans?

Last February, de Matteo opened up about how her OnlyFans account saved her home from foreclosure in an interview with DailyMail.

“It saved us,” she told DailyMail. “OnlyFans saved my life, 100%. I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us,” she continued.

According to the interview, de Matteo refused to get a COVID-19 vaccine, which barred her from acting jobs. Debts grew astronomically and she was about to lose her house, where she lives with her two children.

After the actress found herself with mounting debts and only $10 on her bank account, she decided to create an adult-content account on OnlyFans last year. Instantly, she knew it was a good idea.

“In five minutes, I was able to pay back Compass Real Estate, who kept the sale of my house,” she told DailyMail.

“I did it, but I didn’t want to do it,” she told DailyMail. “I got a lot of heat for doing it.”

While she was reluctant at the beginning, de Matteo loves her account now, and she has no plans of closing it.
