Over the course of the past day, Twitch streamer Kylie Cox, known as Sketch on the platform, has been the subject of controversy stemming from a past OnlyFans account.

Sketch has blown up in popularity over the last few years. He tends to stream sports games like Madden and occasionally collaborates with other streamers like FaZe Banks. Recently, Sketch even showed up in a trailer for Fortnite Reload and spent time during off-season NFL practice training with professional players.

Did Sketch have an OnlyFans?

Sketch confirmed on July 8 that he had “done some stuff” in the past with regard to an LGBTQ+ OnlyFans account or accounts, following leaks that allegedly came from those accounts.

After several internet users noticed distinguishing factors in leaked photos, such as his location and glasses, Sketch was identified as a former adult content creator on OnlyFans. Following this revelation, posters on social media began to vocally denounce Sketch or state their intent to stop supporting him. Much of this was based on the assertion that Sketch and his assumed values did not align with their own, and many were quick to judge the streamer.

Some users decided to treat the matter as a leak or a gotcha moment, attempting to expose Sketch for his history. It is worth noting that based on the evaluations many have made of Sketch’s time on these platforms, all of his behavior has been consensual and safe. Much of the dissent was raised from an ideological background, as users on platforms like X raised several disingenuous concerns about Sketch, his beliefs, and his sexuality.

In a “Sketch of the Union” stream, Sketch addressed the situation, discussing his past as an adult content creator, and mentioned the anxiety that comes with the public’s discovery of it. Sketch noted that he felt he was in a dark place while creating adult content, and expressed a desire to move on from the matter entirely. He also noted experiencing suicidal ideation when he previously had thought about the OnlyFans account coming to light in the past. Sketch thanked friends like Faze Banks, as well as his family for making sure he felt safe.

Friends of the streamer, including FaZe Clan, expressed their support for Sketch. There appears to be a resounding sentiment that regardless of what people on social media say or feel about Sketch, what he has done in the past, or his sexuality, he is their friend first and foremost. Claims that appear to condemn Sketch’s personal values are increasingly difficult to take seriously considering the outpouring of support he has received. Other fans have even asked why Sketch has been treated “worse than Dr. Disrespect.”

Many appear to hope that Sketch is able to recover from this situation without being shamed.
