Twitch streamer Kylie Cox better known as Sketch recently faced a wave of online backlash after explicit content from his past OnlyFans account went viral.
However, amid the controversy, Sketch received significant support from fellow streamers, notably Kai Cenat, who defended him against the harsh criticism.
During a live stream, Sketch confirmed his involvement in the leaked videos, expressing regret and explaining that he was dealing with “addiction problems” at the time. “That was me,” he admitted. “Two years ago I did some stuff. I’m sorry if you’ve seen some of the stuff. I’m a changed person.”
“Plan A was probably to … call it quits if this ever came out.”

In response to the backlash, Kai Cenat openly questioned why people were so quick to condemn Sketch. “Why do people care so much?” Cenat asked during his stream. “I understand it’d be shocking to a lot of people, but bro. Why does something that somebody else do get you so mad to the point where you’ve got to go on the internet and bully the bloke.” Cenat emphasised the disproportionate reaction, comparing it to how people might respond if Sketch had committed a crime. “You would think that [Sketch] murdered somebody by the way people are talking.”
Cenat urged his followers to practise empathy, highlighting that everyone has a past and that it shouldn’t define their future. “I’m not in any space to judge anybody for what they do or what they have done,” he said. “It doesn’t bother me, I don’t care.”
Even Antonio Brown, who initially mocked Sketch online, reconsidered his stance. After tweeting derogatory comments, Brown reached out to Sketch to check on his well-being. “My page is comedy & entertainment,” Brown tweeted. “But I wanted to make sure I let you know I spoke with @thesketchreal this morning. Jokes are jokes but making sure his mental health is good. You never know what people are going through.”
Sketch’s emotional gratitude for the support was evident as he thanked fellow streamer FaZe Banks and his parents for standing by him during the ordeal. He concluded his stream by saying he felt a weight lifted off his shoulders now that his secret was out and vowed to continue streaming, preferring people to “know my flaws.”
