Snoop Dogg Reflects on Turning Down $100 Million OnlyFans Offer
Snoop Dogg recently opened up about a lucrative opportunity he turned down—an eye-popping $100 million offer to join the adult subscription platform, OnlyFans. While the legendary rapper may have no regrets about his decision, he shared that one particular part of him wasn’t too happy about missing out on the deal.
Snoop’s Decision to Decline OnlyFans
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Snoop Dogg humorously addressed the situation when a viewer asked about the rumor that he had turned down $100 million from OnlyFans. Snoop confirmed the story, adding his signature humor to the response.
“I did turn down $100 million, yes. The only part that regrets it is my friend down there,” Snoop joked, glancing downward. The cheeky remark left both Cohen and the audience in stitches. Cohen then added, “Did your ‘friend’ want the exposure?” Snoop, always quick with a clever retort, replied, “He said that $100 million he would’ve spent untaxed!”
This isn’t the first time Snoop has spoken about the offer. In January, during an Instagram Live session, he revealed that the adult content platform approached him with the staggering figure to create content. According to Snoop, they told him, “You could do about $100 million. All you gotta do is pull that thang out.”
However, despite the tempting offer, Snoop turned it down out of respect for his wife of 27 years, Shante Broadus. “I’m like, I got a Black wife. Ain’t no way in the world she gonna allow me to go on there and pull that thang out for no amount of money,” Snoop explained.
OnlyFans’ Growing Celebrity Appeal
OnlyFans has quickly become a popular platform for celebrities and influencers to share exclusive content with their fans. Though it’s widely known for adult entertainment, many stars from various industries have joined to share unique, behind-the-scenes content.
Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios, for example, joined the platform in an effort to “disrupt the way sports stars share content.” In a different vein, Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo also joined OnlyFans, revealing on a podcast that her 13-year-old son even helps edit her photos for the platform. This variety of celebrity involvement has broadened the appeal of OnlyFans beyond its original niche.
Despite the increasing number of stars using the platform, Snoop chose to pass on the opportunity. His loyalty to his family clearly outweighed the potential financial gain. But his playful response shows that he’s able to laugh about what could have been a controversial career move.
Snoop’s Focus on Music and His Upcoming Album
While Snoop Dogg may have declined the OnlyFans offer, he’s keeping busy with his music career. His upcoming 20th studio album, Missionary, is scheduled for release in November. The album is notable for being his first project since 1993’s iconic Doggystyle to be entirely produced by Dr. Dre.
“In my mind, I made it up that I’m going to go back to being Snoop Doggy Dogg,” the rapper said at a recent conference. He explained that he’s taking a backseat role in the studio, allowing Dre to take charge and guide him through the creative process. “I want to humble myself and go in the studio with him and allow him to, you know, work on me and tell me what I need to do and produce me,” Snoop explained.
With features from Sting and Jelly Roll, Missionary is shaping up to be a highly anticipated album that takes fans back to Snoop’s roots while also offering fresh collaborations.
A Legend’s Journey Continues
From turning down a massive OnlyFans deal to working with legendary producer Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg continues to carve out a unique space for himself in pop culture. His humor, loyalty, and focus on his music show that while money talks, some things—like family and legacy—are priceless to the iconic rapper.
