A raft of tennis players could soon begin setting up OnlyFans accounts, according to Alexandre Muller, the world No. 39, who already has his own subscription-based account on the platform. Muller and Nick Kyrgios already have deals with the social platform, sharing behind-the-scenes content from their lives on the professional circuit.
Kyrgios launched his profile at the end of 2023 and posted exclusive updates during his two-year injury layoff. Meanwhile, Muller has often donned the OnlyFans logo on his match kit. Now, their rivals are set to copy them by creating their own accounts.
According to Muller, who in his OnlyFans bio brands himself the ‘sexiest professional tennis player,’ the social media platform is trying to change its image by inviting creators to share exclusive content behind a paywall.
The 28-year-old joined the platform in 2024 and has benefited from his lucrative OnlyFans sponsorship, using the money to help fund his career.
While his decision to team up with the content subscription service initially turned heads, Muller says plenty of tennis stars will be following his lead.
“This year, a lot of tennis players are going to sign with OnlyFans. I’m glad I’m not the only one, along with Kyrgios,” the world No. 39 told Clay.
“You post whatever you want to show. In my case, it’s about tennis, the gym, restaurants, the beach, whatever.
“OnlyFans is trying to change its image. It’s not just about erotic stuff. That’s why they sponsor me. They’re looking for people in sports: tennis, boxing, whatever.”
Muller has also taken his partnership with OnlyFans to the next level, wearing branded apparel at some tournaments. He added: “I wear some clothes from OnlyFans, just to generate a little buzz.”
The 28-year-old was hesitant when he first signed with OnlyFans a little over a year ago, admitting he also assumed it was an “erotic” platform.
However, the deal allowed him to pay for his coaches to travel to more tournaments, and he now enjoys sharing an exclusive insight into his life as a professional tennis player, including how he prepares for big matches.
Kyrgios was the first tennis player to join forces with OnlyFans, announcing their partnership in December 2023 – a month before Muller followed suit.
At the time, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist said: “They are revolutionising social media and I wanted to be a part of that.
“Athletes can no longer just show up on the court or the field. We have to show up online too. I want to create, produce, direct and own content. That’s the future.”
