Behind the towering walls of a Queensland prison, Alicia Davis stood out – not for breaking the rules, but for her striking beauty that sparked waves of admiration and jealousy alike. Now, the 32-year-old former prison officer from Australia’s Gold Coast is making headlines for leaving behind the rigid world of incarceration for a more glamourous, lucrative life as an OnlyFans creator.

Davis, who worked as an officer at the correctional facility until early 2022, said that her time behind bars wasn’t just physically demanding, but also emotionally draining. Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, she revealed that despite prison policies banning makeup, jewellery, and personal expression, she couldn’t escape the constant attention from inmates.

“Every day I’d walk in and they’d say, ‘You look beautiful today’. It wasn’t just a compliment but a tactic to get my attention,” she explained. Prisoners would bombard her with friendly chatter, asking about her day, the length of her shift, and sometimes even attempting to give her gifts, which she consistently refused. “It felt good to be noticed, but I had to remind them again and again that it was inappropriate.”

Her allure didn’t go unnoticed outside the prison walls either. Alicia shared that some inmates, once released, would track down her Instagram and try to reconnect. “They thought maybe something could happen,” she said, firmly adding that she never reciprocated those advances.

But it wasn’t just the inmates who were watching. The wives and girlfriends of those behind bars often directed icy glares at her during visitation hours. “Some of them would stare at me like they wanted to kill me,” she recalled, adding that a few even got aggressive with her.

Beneath the surface, Davis said the job demanded more than physical presence. Officers were expected to win the trust of inmates, encourage them to open up, and monitor their behaviour. But balancing professionalism amid persistent flirtation, jealousy, and strict regulations wore her down. “The prison job tied me down. I wasn’t allowed to be myself – no makeup, no nails, no personality in my wardrobe. It was exhausting,” she said.

In February 2022, Davis finally handed in her badge and turned to a path that offered both freedom and financial independence. Launching a career on OnlyFans, she tapped into her already-growing online following – now over 1.19 lakh strong on Instagram – and embraced a new reality where she sets the rules.

The shift has proved to be nothing short of life-changing. While working in corrections, Davis earned around £46,000 annually (approximately Rs 52 lakh). Today, her income has soared to £280,000 (about Rs 3.16 crore), and she no longer has to suppress her personality or style. “Now I wear what I want, talk to who I want, and live how I want without fear,” she said, adding that she finally felt like herself.
